More than 10 emails further because I want to return a see trough item. They keep requesting a picture while my girlfriend is wearing it and won't return her money. Even though it is EU regulation that return within 14 days is mandatory. Additionally, I was not aware of over 100 euro's in import taxes I still had to pay on top of the purchase price.
I ordered and paid for a dress and was offered free customisation to get it tailored to fit my measurements. I sent my measurements and waited. There was a significant delay due to a heatwave in Rajasthan…totally forgivable, as we can’t control the weather. The dress arrived and I tried it on, only to discover that the waist sat about 4.5” too high, just under my bust, like an empire line style! I emailed to ask for their return instructions. I was asked for photos showing the problem, which I sent. I was then offered 2 options - a voucher for half the cost ($30) or a remake but only if I paid the postage ($28). Aggrieved, I asked for a third option where I wasn’t penalised for their error. I was then asked for an additional measurement; the high shoulder point to waist, (this was not asked for with the original measurements). I informed them of this extra measurement and have heard nothing since despite several further emails from me. It’s now been over 3 weeks of silence.I loved the design of the dress and the quality of construction was good too but the denim used was heavy, more suited for jeans or a jacket; definitely too thick and uncomfortable for a dress… even in a Scottish climate!I am left with an unwearable dress which cost £47.46/$60, so although they may ‘seem friendly’, I cannot recommend this company. Save your money and buy local or with a company that has a trustworthy returns policy!*Further to SeamsFriendly’s response - I have a whole chain of emails linked to SeamsFriendly’s emails. I don’t appreciate the implication that I am a liar. Yes they definitely do need to sort out their communications. I now would prefer a full refund as I have no respect or trust in the company.**If you can’t get an answer to your emails, try their WhatsApp or leave a review here…they answered that pretty quickly!A full refund was received. The first two dress designs were a miss but the seller made two more dresses free of charge in the upgraded design and et viola! They were absolute PERFECTION! I cannot stress enough how gorgeous the fabrics of the dresses are and how absolutely wonderful the fit is! Will be buying more in the same design in different colors next!
Every step of my shopping experience was significant. The selection of garments, customer service reaching out to ensure they had the correct measurements, quick shipping, sensible packaging, and finally receiving my garments. They have made a repeat customer out of me!
The first order I placed took forever to arrive. One of the garments was way too long on me even though I ordered size petite. They advertise free returns, so I tried to return the garment and customer support kept asking me for my body measurements and photos to prove it didn't fit. I wasn't comfortable sending a random stranger my measurements and photos so we had a back and forth. They settled on giving me store credit, but not allowing the return, which seemed like a scam to me.When I made a second order to use the credit, it took ages to arrive again. They also kept ignoring my messages on Whatsapp. Not purchasing things on this site again.
I will never be buying from this company again. They boast "easy returns" but this is a complete lie. I had to send photos of myself to "prove" the item did not fit. Despite the dress clearly not fitting, they said it looked fine and I was not allowed to return the item. Because of the time difference, it took about three weeks of back and forth emails for them to come to this conclusion. I see now why they say "our Return Rate has been ~ 3%, compared to the 30% industry average;" it's because they make returning items a nightmare. Buying from this company was a huge waste of time and I will never do so again.
