Bought 4 big bags of Seattle's Best Dark Roast as usual because I have been drinking it for years. I always order from Sam's Club online and this last order was horrible. The smell was so bad and I had to put it in a plastic bag to keep the house from smelling like it after I opened one bag. Opened a second and same thing. Contact Seattle's Best customer service to let them know the bag numbers so they could investigate what was going on and she simply said we can't do anything about it or discuss it with you. You will have to contact Sam's Club. What??? I was trying to give them a heads up that something was wrong with the product that has never been that way. So now I am trying other coffees and experimenting to find a new everyday coffee. Done with Seattle's Best after being a customer for many years.
My wife has a standing order with Amazon each week for a package containing six bags of Seattle's Best Coffee's Hazelnut Blend. An order that we received in August did not have the usual Hazelnut aroma and taste. A subsequent order from Amazon had the usual aroma and flavor.When I contacted Seattle's Best Coffee's customer service, they avoided any responsibility for the problem and punted my complaint back to Amazon, claiming that their agreement with Amazon precluded Seattle's Best from dealing with customer complaints. As a former business owner, I would think that if any product or services were the subject of a customer complaint that the provider would want to investigate and correct the problem. Apparently, not the case at Seattle's Best Coffee.
I give it a 4 because 5 means perfect and in my opinion this is not perfect but better than others. I must say I do have several different brands I enjoy but this is a good one to wake up to. Coffee helps you keep going thru these isolated times!
