Disappointing organization and communication. There seemed to be an attempt to take advantage during the festive season. We received a quote for a private chef for the holiday period, which was supposed to be valid for a week. Despite my inquiries indicating my intention to book, at no point was I informed that payment was necessary to secure the booking or risk losing the chef. I was later told that the original quote had expired and the new one was significantly higher! Naturally, we chose to go with another service. What a letdown!
We had a perfect experience with our chef at Lago di Como! She arrived on time and brought everything necessary. She created a delightful atmosphere in our villa and prepared an exceptional meal, surpassing anything we could have found in local restaurants. Afterward, she left the kitchen spotless. She was cheerful, very professional, and so discreet that we hardly noticed her presence. It was comfortable, easy, and simply wonderful. We would definitely book this experience again!
