Review Time
This was our second time using Secret Match Day and again there was nothing we could fault from their service. We were given Borussia Mönchengladbach v Bayer Leverkusen. It wasn’t the most exciting match I’ve ever seen but we were in the standing section with the ultras which meant the atmosphere more than made up for the less than exciting match. The only down side would be that as the ground is out of town it is quite a trek to get to and from. Much prefer an in town/city stadium. We were based in Düsseldorf for the weekend which had plenty of bars and restaurants to keep us entertained. Overall another good weekend away watching football thanks to Secret Match Day!
I used secretmatchday to arrange a surprise trip for my son’s 21st birthday, him and his brother were sent to Karlsruhe, Germany and had an excellent experience. I had a couple of requests prior to the trip and the team were more than accommodating with these and provided a unique birthday experience for my sons 21st.
Brilliant experience great communication. Flights booked for a decent time so could make the most of the first day in Frieburg, hotel booked right next to train station so great transport links to Basel and the airport. Would definitely use again
This was my second time using Secret match day, the package they produce has been second to none both times, well organised and full of detail which gives you confidence when travelling to unknown locations at such sort notice. The hotels choices have been really good, clean and full of resources you’d ever need whilst staying a short period, atmosphere was incredible at the game we was given which was Lyon VS Lille, standard of football wasn’t the greatest but another stadium and league ticked off! Thanks for sorting once again to the guys at secret match day, looking forward to our next adventure!
This is the 3rd time I have used Secret match day, and every trip has been excellent. We went to Poznan this time, and the whole experience was spot on. A really comfortable apartment right near the main square, and transport from the airport and to the match was really straightforward. The Poznan fans were out of this world which made for a truly memorable experience.Secret match day were really good to deal with. Any questions we had were answered very quickly.Can't wait to do another trip.
A great weekend in Berlin for Hertha BSC vs SV Darmstadt at the Olympic stadium. All communication was clear and very helpful. Good flight times, great match seats and hotel well placed for transport and things to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to book again in the future.
2nd SMD. Frankfurt v Leverkusen. Brilliant atmosphere at the game. Friend booked it for 4 of us and had no issues. Match tickets issued morning of match. Really recommend this. Stayed 2 nights and accommodation within a 10 minute tram and or taxi from centre. €300 for 2 nights, flights and the game is a brilliant price.
Wow! What an amazing experience. Simply fantastic. We originally had a booking for last year but due to illness with the organiser in our group, there was a need to defer for a few months. This wasn’t a problem with these guys - in fact they couldn’t have been more respectful about it. Now we have finally been - we had a brilliant trip. We went to Milan and attended the metropolitano stadium to watch Atletico. A truly memorable experience. We will be booking to go again later in the year and am sure we will have a great time again as the service offered is so smooth. Thanks to all.
