A professional operation

This is the second time I've used Siege Studio's gold painting tier. They run a professional operation, with the estimated timeline accurate, and the painting as requested. There's aldo plenty of feedback during the painting itself. A job well done, and highly recommended! (1749)

Custom Sang

Where to begin? There was a ton that set the custom commission process at Siege Studio apart. Frequent WIP photo updates. Ample time to discuss via video meetings the commission itself. Friendly and responsive Team. Everyone really made this easy and smooth transaction. I’m very happy with the result! Commission #1811

Si was a fantastic tutor

Si was a fantastic tutor. I learned more in 2 days than in nearly 20 years of painting war dollies.Genuinely a great experience. The set up at Element Games, with our own private room, was very good. The lights provided were amazing!I will be back for another course soon.

Essentials Master Class 1

I had a fantastic time at EMC1 held at Element Games. It was a great setup, and a really chilled atmosphere. There was lots to cover, but it never felt rushed and the weekend flew by.Simon was a brilliant teacher, his demos and guidance were easy to follow and he made sure to check everyone's progress at each stage. He was easy to approach, had loads of tips and anecdotes, answered every question and made everyone feel they could achieve all the lessons (even the eyes!).I'm really looking forward to doing EMC2 later in the year.

For order number 1484

For order number 1484They did an amazing job, added so many details I didn’t think off by going above and beyond what I had imagined. I highly recommend getting at least one flagship model done from them because it is worth it!

Solid course for all abilities

I booked onto a Siege Studios EMC1 course which took place last weekend.I have been painting miniatures for about 2 years, and have slowly practiced more and more techniques but only through online guides, YouTube and other platforms. I joined the Siege Discord about 6 months ago, having watched their podcast on a regular basis whilst painting. So, the course itself. The venue was Bad Moons Cafe in London, which was a great venue with a good amount of space as well as a great bar/cafe area and a great atmosphere with lots of gaming going on around us as we painted. The course begins with a section on airbrushing, before going on to wet pallette tips, brush control, and layering for Day 1. Day 2 has highlighting, decals, weathering and faces. I would highly recommend making sure you check the kit list beforehand although an airbrush is absolutely not 100% necessary; most of the learning was with a brush.James led the course, which was relatively fast paced with lots of information provided. Everything was demonstrated by James before everyone gave each technique a go themselves. The delivery was clear and direct, with feedback during the session focusing on areas of improvement as you followed the session. James does a good job of separating opinion and fact in his statements and feedback, and encourages people to ask questions if they aren’t clear on the subject. The pace of the course was fast, and full of information so taking notes is absolutely essential to get the most out of it. James always provided critical feedback during practice sessions, whilst balancing it with praise for the final results once he felt that people had achieved their results with each piece. The course is about improving as a painter and saving time where possible without sacrificing quality or taking shortcuts, and I can safely say that everyone who was on the course with me was able to achieve a high standard in all of the sections. I am already considering EMC2 as a course and really enjoyed my time, especially socialising with the other students which topped it off, and James took a big interest in the hobby and what it meant for people in the Q&A, and when students were playing Kill Team games they’d organised for after the course finished on day 1. I think all of the elements I learnt will definitely make their way into my painting as I enter my first painting competition!

Great painting class!

Great painting class!Recently attended their essentials master course as someone with about a years painting under my belt. Felt like I learned not just new techniques but also refinements of basics that I had been doing for a year. No question went unanswered, everyone got individual attention and corrections. Really felt like a focused space to learn about the hobby and the teacher was committed to making sure you got individual value out of your time and money rather than phoning it in which was great.
