Good hardware, but major issues with customer service.

The hardware seems solid, and unlike many users, I find the app to be functional. However, the real problem lies in the customer service. I had my system installed on November 25, and about a week later, my Inverter stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. It fails to detect any networks, even after trying multiple mobile hotspots on 2.4GHz. Phone support has been unhelpful, promising callbacks that never come. As of April 1, it’s been a month without any follow-up. Submitting a support ticket leads to a minimum wait of a week, only to receive a generic response that closes the ticket, forcing me to start the process over. The installers, who are fantastic, have also faced the same poor service. Thankfully, the electrician created an Ethernet cable for me to use temporarily, but I have to run it through a cracked window in the winter, which is far from ideal. Overall, my experience with customer service has been very disappointing. My faith in the ecosystem has diminished significantly, and I now wish I had chosen a different option.

Very poor customer service

Hardware appears good and contrary to a lot of users, I have found the app to be good.The issue is in the customer service. I had my system installed in November 25. Approximately 1 week later my Inverter cannot connect to wifi. When trying to search for wireless networks to connect to, it fionds none. Not a single one. I have even tried setting up multiple mobile hotspots using only 2.4GHz but it finds nothing.The people on phone support offer no help and say you will be called back. It is now 4/1/25 and I have still received no call back in that month.Making a support ticket results in a guaranteed minimum wait time of a week. Then, you will receive a generic response as though from AI or a script and they then close the ticket, resulting in the necessity to create a new ticket and restart the waiting process. They also offer this level of service to the installers as I have had the installing electricians (who are excellent) back to help sort it out, but they too get the same treatment. Fortunately, the elctrician created an ethernet cable for me to hardwire in until it is resolved. The downside is I am having to route this through a cracked open window during winter. Not ideal.Very, very poor customer service experience so far. I have lost all faith in the Sigenergy ecosystem as a result, but it is now too late.If, like me you were considering Tesla originally. Do yourself a favour and go with them.

Love the Battery system .BUT!!!

Love the Battery system. well designed and thought out. If you are a macbook user there seems to be no app available for macbook. If there is isnt to hard to find and or not available. took a bit of stuffing around to get phone app running. after a week,the app download of finding it seems to be the only down side

Avoid SIGENERGY at all cost!

Perhaps the most advanced battery/solar/generator system around (for 3 phase).However I would urge everyone to avois SIGENERGY like the black plague.5 months and the system still doesn't work correct.Sigs engineer (in house team) cause my ATS to burn out because he instructed the installer using a trail and erro procedure.I've lost track of the service calls my by the solar installer (good guy) and the great number of calls he's put into Sig.Sig reckon a 3rd party provider can resolve everything over the phone (Their called Omnidian). They can't.At one point they were going to send a guy to site but then changed the plan and we were back to phone service.One this occasion the phone team sent an email detailing how my guys had not conncted a wire - sadly, the omnidian phone guy got it completely wrong. So the mark 2 email came out - easy fix they said, just swap 2 wires, which would be the ones the Sig engineer asked to be swapped away from their correct position causing the ATS to fail. Sure but swapping the wires won't work because Sig blew my ATS up.I am suing.I am going to fair trading.And I am going to raise this vociferously with Minister Chris Bowen.Please choose any other supply for your peace of mind

Sold Sigenergy as the Rolls Royce of Solar. Ended up being a new MG.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Was mis-sold Sigenergy as a single phase alternative to Tesla and I foolishly believed the online reviews on a popular solar forum. Legal action via my home insurance legal cover has begun. The casing is cheap plastic, the company does not respond to service requests , the app is beyond terrible and the warranty "fine print" is full of language against the customer (me). Serves me right for investing in a company that's < 2 years in the UK!

Pretty poor

Pretty poor. Hardware is good, but software is unreliable. A recent update bricked my system and now will not work unless I turn off my EC charger. Is been nearly a week and not even responded to my ticket yet. A week without home charging is pretty dire.

Tech Support Australia is really bad

Tech Support Australia is really bad. Installing solar and batteries for over 20years. I don’t care how good your product is invest your time and money to staff tech support for people installing your product. Stopped using SMA and Fronius for the same reason. Tesla SolarEdge Sungrow have great support which is why I choose their product. Stopped installing SMA 10years ago because of this issue. Help us help you. Do not leave an installer high and dry it really sux. 5hrs for a return call on numerous occasions is def not good enough. Good product terrible service via lack of investment or poor management. Sort your stuff out.

Worst customer service ever.

Worst customer service ever.For months iam trying to get in touch with someone who can help me to solve a problem with a missing item. ATI solar, my supplier gives me the finger, and sigen customer service is nothing better. Please find youself a different brand.

The units seem to work very well but with one annoying issue

The units seem to work very well. Just one issue . even with a 100kw battery the system still draws about 3% from the grid when the batteries have at least 50% left. I cannot understand this and other people with different systems dont have the same experience. I'd like to stop this grid draw down as I introduced a large solar array and batteries to stop having to pay for grid electricity
