This has been a 5 star experience all round using Silent Disco Stars. I enquired online about hiring 250 headsets for a large youth event we were running.
The booking was straightforward and there were no hidden fees or extra costs to catch us out from the initial quote.
The customer service representative, Ashleigh, was amazing and communicated everything great. She even included an extra transmitter when requested which was a real nice touch.
The equipment itself was excellent - no issues whatsoever. Headsets clean, all charged and all working. Quality was just as good as a more expensive company we had used previously.
I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking to hire a silent disco.
Some previous reviews mentioned issues with delivery - and while this isn't a review about the delivery company, that was the only slight negative. the issue was they didn't give a 2 hour timeslot for the delivery and just turned up - this was fine as I was in all day, but can see how this could cause issues for people.

I ordered the silent disco a couple of weeks ahead of my party which was planned for 27/12. I was told that I would have them delivered on 24/12 due to the Xmas period. The courier company gave me a 2 hour window for delivery, and then delivered 20 minutes BEFORE time stated. I missed the delivery because I was working to the time given by THEM! They said that they will redeliver on 29/12, which was 2 days after my party. I couldn’t get hold of anyone to resolve this due to the time of year, so my party went ahead without them (very disappointed). On 29th I had a courier arrive to collect the headsets (which I obviously didn’t have), and then 5 hours later I received a notification to say that I can now collect them from a local newsagent!! ShamblesI contacted Silent Disco Stars feeling confident that they would do the right thing as they could see that it wasn’t my fault, I expected a the very least a refund, but they have refused. They deemed that it’s my fault. The girl you speak to is less than helpful and does not represent the company well. Ruined party and out of pocket 😡
The booking was easy and the delivery and collection ran smoothly. We had to change the collection address due to work demands and this was no trouble for them to do and they were great about it. The equipment worked well and everyone at our party had a great time. Would recommend to everyone and definitely use again.
The Silent Disco Stars were really helpful. No question too difficult. Any queries resolved. Equipment not too difficult for middle aged technophobes to use. A fantastic fun night for any age, the best laugh we have had for ages.Would definitely recommend.
We had an excellent experience with Silent Disco Stars. Communication was prompt and helpful throughout and they allowed us to add to the number of headsets we required once we knew exact numbers for our party. Delivery was straightforward and everything was clearly packaged and very easy to use. We had a fantastic night and would highly recommend using this company!
I hired a karaoke machine for a hen do. It was due for delivery on Thursday (for their standard Thursday–Monday hire), but I was told on Wednesday it would be split between Thursday and Friday. Since I was leaving on the Friday, I asked for it to be re-routed to our lodge for the weekend. At 3pm on the Friday, with guests arriving at 5, I was told it wouldn’t be delivered until the Monday collection date. I had no choice but to buy one last-minute, which was stressful, costly, time consuming and meant we lost a day of using the karaoke. The company did refund me and were apologetic, but with such a limited hire window, relying solely on couriers without better safeguards just isn’t good enough.
We hired the silent disco for my daughters birthday party and we were so glad that we did. It was great fun for all ages. The delivery of the equipment was easy to arrange with no issues. The headsets were straightforward to set up... great value for money!
I suggested a silent disco for my daughter’s 6th birthday and it went down a storm. The kids loved it, we played games involving the headsets and set up a playlist so the kids could listen to their favourite tracks. The delivery and collection was seamless, the quality and ease of the kit was perfect and we even used them again for a family BBQ over the weekend. Great value for money and we will be using them again. Thank you for a memorable weekend.
