Review Time
I ordered one top just to see how the experience of buying from this company was. I emailed them asking for my order receipt, because it doesn't automatically get sent out. I had to email them more than a few times to get what I needed. Then it actually arrived! Before the day I needed it too. But it was too big on me, shame! It was thick and a little heavy, so it's a nicer quality than one would expect. But the shipping information comes from China, so I can assume these are Chinese products. They include a printed slip for you to return the item and write the reason for the return - however the window of time they accept returns is SO small! If I hadn't gone to return it a couple days after receiving it, I would have not gotten any money back. You pay for the item, you pay for shipping, and if you're returning it, you pay for shipping again. They only refund the amount of the item itself, not the full price you paid. So I paid in order to return it. Then I never got my money back, and I needed to send a few emails for them to ask me for the tracking info. I had thrown it away weeks prior, so I gave them the order # and that seemed to satisfy them (since you need to write your order # on the enclosed return slip they provide to you). You also need to return it in the original packaging, which I did. After my emails, that's when they finally released my funds for the return. I wouldn't have received my refund had I not pestered them via email.In summary: Things get done, but only if you hold their hand every step of the way... if you leave things to fall through the cracks, they definitely will. But they at least responded to me, which is more than what I can say about the other bad reviews on here.. maybe the good reviews are bought/fake?
I’ve ordered several times from Simple Retro, and all the garments have been of really good quality. I’m especially impressed by the fit, even after several washes the garment stay true to shape. My favorite is their dresses, sun dresses of Simple Retro is a staple piece in my wardrobe! The sizes are also normal/generous. I take M usually
Simple Retro takes inspiration from retro vintage pieces and places priority on attention to detail on their garments. I absolutely love my cotton pointelle cardigan and bias cut dress! The lace trim bias dress was lined and the cozy cardigan sweater was thick with gorgeous pearl buttons. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and would shop again.
If I can rate this company a zero I would! So unprofessional, they ignore you after getting your hard earned money. Customer service is pretty much inexistent. I burned $260 dollars worth of clothes and it’s been weeks no shipping confirmation whatsoever. Tried emailing and private messaging but no response. And nope don’t try giving me that spam folder nonsense. Stay away from them.
I absolutely loved my two pieces from Simple Retro. My embroidery cardigan is beautiful. The floral detail is exquisite and the lace flounce velvet dress is stunning. Love the Peter pan collar and the lace on the neckline and arms are beautiful. Definitely must buy for your wardrobe
