Review Time
I started using SimplyWise to help with estimates. I didn't have experience doing estimates, and was worried my notepad with a dollar sign wasn't gonna cut it. The ease of access was amazing. Everything is fairly simple to find. And I've gotten several comments on how nice and professional my estimates look. The image rendering does need work, but after a few attempts I can usually get it to at least give my customers somewhat of a visual. It's also extremely helpful to get a notification when a customer opens the estimate. Very thankful for this app, as it has helped me build my business tremendously.
I do enjoy the app quite a bit. Although there is some things that I don't like about it, but I'm not even sure if you could change it. I don't like how when I change an estimate to an invoice it takes away all the detail that was listed with each item. Also, I don't like that It just says labor and then in the description it will list all of the things that would be in that particular labor cost, but it doesn't show up on the printed out estimate. So I have to go in and type in where it says labor at the top and put in the description manually. so that it shows up on the estimate exactly what they're getting instead of it just saying labor. I have to always go back in and add exactly what that labor entails. Another thing is that it will jumble together what it perceived to be carpentry for example . And it will list all the things in the description . But it doesn't itemize each task within that labor column. So there's no itemized cost for each task that's listed in the description. It just has it all lumped in there for you to have to figure out how much out of the total amount for carpentry labor will go to each task. So if the customer declines for me to do one of the tasks, I have to go in and figure out how much out of the total cost should be dedicated to that task.But other than that four out of five stars.
I run a business that uses this estimator tool daily. It is fantastic!! A task that used to take me hours , now takes minutes and I can get an estimate to a client and contract signed within the same day. Time is money in almost any industry, this saves an incredible amount of both! I highly recommend !!

Simply wise is the best estimation apps that I have used. I have tried many of the other estimation apps and they're either as good or not as good, but more complicated to use. I like that the app will save your changes ... if it estimates that a bag of concrete costs $9 and you change it to $10 it will save that amount for all your upcoming bids. I have used it for estimating concrete, building, painting, landscaping, and many other trades as well. If you haven't tried it you need to!!! Hands down a time saver and money maker
