Review Time
From the outset, my experience was disappointing. The initial contact to book a quote visit was extremely poor. The sales representative seemed to be in a hurry and did not take the time to address my needs or discuss my project in detail. I was informed that a quote would only be provided if all homeowners were present, which I found quite unreasonable.On the day of the quote visit, one of the homeowners was unavailable, and as a result, the sales representative insisted that no quote would be provided. This lack of flexibility and consideration for the customer is concerning. All I required was some basic costing to determine if the project was worth progressing, yet it seems there was no effort made to accommodate this request.Given these experiences, I am left with the impression that there may be significant issues in dealing with your organization moving forward. I hope you take this feedback constructively to improve your customer service and processes.
Brilliant customer service from ordering to completion. Workmen very efficient polite, friendly and helpful.The windows and doors are amazing. My home is a lot warmer and secure. Thank you to all the staff.
The whole experience was very good. Right from visiting the shop to view the options, to the completion of the work. The workers arrived on time and, most importantly, they cleaned up after themselves—no mess for us to sort out. Since the conservatory roof was installed, we have noticed it is much warmer, and there is no more condensation on the windows. We would recommend this company because they are so professional.
The salesman and then the surveyor took time to answer all our questions and demonstrate a sample product. Price for replacing all windows was very competitive and product looked high quality for UPVC. The lead fitter was very experienced and explained the process they used in comparison with the poor fitting of the old windows. Despite poor weather they completed very efficiently in two days leaving the house very tidy inside. Reasons for less than 5 stars (i) i had to clean drive of plastic cuttings and removing some materials from under windows (ii) outside windows were only partially clean on completion, but i note weather was dire (iii) all new windows have to have air vents. This is not just solar frame, but i am disappointed that the attempt to keep the heat inside the house is compromised by these vents. Job 11573
When considering companies to carry out home improvements for Windows/Doors/Conservatories there are several factors to think about.Value - Reputable company - Honest reviews - Guarantee's- Employed fitters ( Not contractors) and the whole customer journey.This is where SolarFrame set the standard.I contacted 3 reputable companies, SolarFrame got back to me prompt the following day at 9am to book a call in with their home consultant Saj, where the other two companies took 3 to 4 days, this was a big tick for Solarframe from the outset.I would like to share my well deserved customer experience to all new SolarFrame prospects thinking of engaging a true reputable company that delivers on its promise.Within a week i had a visit from Saj the local home design consultant for the East Midlands. Saj was such a lovely guy, absolutely no pressure sales what so ever, no false quotes and heavy discounting to get the deal done that day. Very knowledgeable and great honest recommendations. Saj supplied great literature and samples of choice and delivered SolarFrames unique customer promise.The price i received was an honest price in my opinion, as i was not looking for cheap, that's where quality gets compromised and no after sales back up from past experience, it felt right and in line with my budget expectations.After deciding to give Saj the order and deposit which i received a guarantee by e mail next morning was followed up by a call from SolarFrame's in house team to book a date for a surveyor visit. (Booked) At that time i was also introduced to Conner the installations manager who would be looking after our installation and the team of fitters.Following the survey, i received a call from Conner to book in the fitting date (23/1/2026).Morning of the 23rd The fitters Jordan & Ben arrived prompt and on time. Such lovely guys. Jordan instantly talked me through what he was going to do by each stage as we were having windows & large sliding doors fitted. Jordan checked in with me at every stage to check i was happy.I must commend these fitters they had a great can do attitude and nothing was too much trouble, attention to detail was second to none, taking their time and making sure the finishing was of high standard.Jordan & Ben cleaned up the installation really well and removed all rubbish and old units to a standard you would have thought they had not been on site. Employed fitters by SolarFrame and delivered the constant customer experience throughout the installation. I have had many fitters over the years in many houses but none as particular as Jordan & Ben.👌.Jordan & Ben finished later than expected in the dark and cold, but just got on with it.The next day i received a call from Conner to see if i was happy with the installation and to pay the final balance. The same day i received paid in full invoice with a pack including all guarantee's etc.In summary!In this day of age you would have to go a long way to find companies that deliver what i call 'world class customer service from all the SolarFrame team involved on my installation.The communication was seamless from the very first call, including all documentation throughout the installation to payment.I will be contacting SolarFrame again soon for phase two of my home improvements.Well done team SolarFrame & thankyou for a great customer experience.Best wishes.Mr A Saunders ( Nottinghamshire)
We've recently had several windows and our back door replaced by Solar Frame (job 11560). The windows included a variety- some small, some large, some triple glazed, and two different patterns of obscured glass. They all look amazing and we've noticed an improvement in heat retention immediately. The sales and fitting teams were lovely. I was particularly impressed that the team of two fitters managed to do 5 windows and a door from start to finish in a day. They made minimal mess and cleaned up before they left. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Had problems with our front door ever since it was fitted. Locks been changed so many times. Came back into the front door today and the key has jammed in the lock from the front. Cannot get the key in or out. Disgusting service all round.
