Installed 6.6kw system in 2021, very quick to install and take money. No issues until the inverter failed mid 2025, Growatt, with a 10 year warrenty. Have been trying to get repairs but get a standard email "This is to inform you that we are in contact with our team regarding your request. Kindly wait while we look into the matter — we will provide you with an update soon. We truly appreciate your patience" the contractors have been from sick to overseas and all sorts of excuses but no interest in helping. Been trying since 07/25 till 02/26 and now contacted the office of fair trading
Absolutely unacceptable experience with National Solar.
I paid my deposit after being promised my solar system would be installed within the first month. It has now been 2 months and I still have no confirmed installation date, no clear communication at all, and no accountability from this company.
I have made repeated attempts to contact them for updates. Every time I am told someone will call me back the same day or that my issue will be “actioned” and it never happens. I have spent weeks chasing basic information that should have been provided without me having to constantly follow up.
Taking a customer’s deposit and then failing to communicate or deliver within the promised timeframe is extremely unprofessional and has completely destroyed my confidence in this company.
I guess just add this unsatisfied google review with the rest of them wish I looked this up before paying deposit

Despite assurances that past negative experiences were resolved, my own situation has unfortunately validated those concerns. I have been waiting for five months without any resolution or clear explanation for the delays. Communication has been inconsistent, and the commitments made during the initial consultation have not been fulfilled. Given the lack of support and the gap between their promises and the actual service provided, I cannot endorse their offerings.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING: I strongly advise against engaging with this company. They damaged my roof's water pipes, causing my ceiling to become wet and develop mold. Additionally, they installed a battery and damaged my surveillance camera and external wall. They refused to take responsibility and kept demanding more evidence. When I provided it, they shifted the goalposts. Communication with them is a nightmare, as they constantly transfer calls and claim their resolution team is unavailable. They are dishonest and only care about making sales. I urge everyone to avoid them.
This is an outright scam! I paid a $500 deposit on August 4, 2025. By the end of September, there was no progress, and the company promised a refund. Now it's December 10, and I still haven't received it. They don't respond to my emails and hang up when I call. I've had to reach out to consumer protection to help retrieve my funds. It's absurd that a company like this continues to operate.
I paid for a solar panel and battery installation that was promised within 4-6 weeks, but it's now been three months with no installation. They are now saying it will take until January, making it a four-month wait for a simple job. This is the most frustrating experience I've had with a company, and I will never use their services again.
This is a scam! They took my deposit for a battery system and stopped responding to my calls and emails shortly after. I had a decent experience with this company before, but when things went wrong, they went horribly wrong. I placed an order for a solar battery several months ago, and now I can't even reach anyone to discuss the situation. Their call center refuses to connect me to a manager, and they promise callbacks that never happen. If they can't deliver on their commitments, they should offer reasonable solutions or refunds instead of ignoring customers. After this experience, I wouldn't want them near my property.
I regret signing with this company. I paid a $500 deposit for a home battery installation in July, and now it's the end of October with no communication unless I call. I requested a refund and cancellation, which they agreed to, but ten days later and after another call, I still haven't been reimbursed. Their low ratings are justified, and it's embarrassing for them.
I am very satisfied with the service I received. I had a 41.94kWh battery installed for $6,999, and everything went smoothly. My brother-in-law is also getting an installation soon, and I will definitely recommend this service to my friends and family.
