Venue in a Lovely Location with Room for Improvement

This venue is located in a lovely area, and the restrooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly. We had made a reservation for our visit on 23/11/26. However, the seating felt quite cramped, making it challenging to navigate through the awkwardly arranged tables. We were seated but not informed about the light system used for ordering. Our table was near the stage, which seemed well-organized. After a trip to the restroom, I learned from my friend about the light system, and they had already ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately, the drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive. While the rest of the table received their drinks and some food, my son waited for nearly 30 minutes for his rice, which he eventually canceled. My chicken wings were definitely overcooked, although they looked acceptable. I ordered 12 wings and a trio of doubles, but waited over 90 minutes for them. I was grateful I had ordered enough wings to share as I was quite hungry. After several attempts to follow up on my order, the food finally arrived, but to my disappointment, it was cold. The server apologized and said she would remove it from the bill, but then we were informed that if we took the food, we would still have to pay for it. This situation was frustrating, and while there were more issues, the service was quite poor overall. I recommend having a good manager to better organize the floor as it felt chaotic. The food I did manage to enjoy was tasty, but serving cold and overcooked dishes, along with incomplete orders, indicates kitchen issues. This experience let me down. On a positive note, the Neo Soul Experience was fantastic and truly made my night. It kept me from leaving in frustration. The performances were definitely worth the wait. A note to the camera operator: please be mindful that others are trying to enjoy the show while you take your pictures and make sure to step aside so we can see.

A Mixed Experience

This venue is located in a lovely area, and the restrooms were clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly. We had made a reservation for our table in advance. However, the seating felt cramped, making it difficult to navigate through the closely arranged tables. We were seated but not informed about the light system used for ordering. Despite being near the stage, which was well-organized, my return from the restroom revealed that my friends had already ordered drinks and food using the light system. Our drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive, and my son waited an additional 30 minutes for his rice, which he ultimately canceled. My chicken wings were overcooked, while his looked decent. I ordered 12 wings and a trio of doubles but waited over 90 minutes for them. When they finally arrived, they were cold. The server apologized and offered to remove the charge, but we were informed that we would have to pay for the cold food if we took it. The service was chaotic, and it really affected my experience. Although the food I did have was tasty, the issues with cold and overcooked meals point to kitchen problems. I must say, the Neo Soul Experience was fantastic and saved my evening. It was the highlight that kept me from leaving and not returning. The performances were definitely worth the wait, but I suggest the management should improve the organization on the floor.

Hoping for a Better Experience

I was looking forward to my visit to the venue to see an artist, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. As someone who cannot handle spicy foods, I found the vegan options severely lacking—the squash salad was unexpectedly spicy and inedible for me. It was surprising to discover that the entire menu was spicy. I reached out via email twice to express my concerns but received no acknowledgment. While the atmosphere was vibrant, the absence of non-spicy options and poor customer service left a negative impression. I found it hard to feel valued as a customer.

Avoid Due to Poor Food and Service

We were a family of four who booked a dinner two and a half hours before a show nearby. Unfortunately, the food was subpar and the service was fraught with errors. My daughter, who does not drink alcohol due to breastfeeding, was mistakenly served a cocktail with alcohol instead of a mocktail. After she pointed this out, they replaced it with a lackluster apology. The food arrived inconsistently, and we had to wait for cutlery after the mains were served. The chicken wings were small and underwhelming, and the king prawn starter was overcooked and not worth the price. The lamb main was swimming in oil, and the chicken dish had only a few small pieces of chicken. When we raised concerns, the staff was dismissive. The service was slow, and we were late for our show. I would not recommend this place due to the poor food and service.

Disappointed with Premium Seating

I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the so-called ‘premium’ seating for which we paid a significant amount. The ticket description promised ‘very good view seats’ and ‘queue jump,’ but we received neither. The seating was arranged in long tables that obstructed our view, forcing us to look past other guests just to see the performance. Prior to purchasing, we were informed that smaller tables near the stage were premium, which influenced our decision. On the night, we were told those were actually VIP, leaving us with inferior seats. The view was not worth the price we paid. While the performance was outstanding, the seating arrangement detracted from the experience. The bar staff were polite, but management needs to be clearer about what customers are paying for. Marketing these seats as premium is misleading, and charging such a price for a compromised view is unacceptable.

Disappointed with Menu Options and Lack of Response

I was eagerly anticipating my visit to see an artist, but I left feeling incredibly let down. As someone who cannot eat spicy food, I struggled to find suitable vegan options—the squash salad was unexpectedly spicy and inedible. I was informed that the entire menu was spicy, which was quite disheartening. I emailed my complaint twice but received no response. While the venue has a lively atmosphere, the lack of non-spicy choices and minimal customer service made for a poor experience. It was challenging to feel valued as a customer.

Good Atmosphere but Slow Service

The atmosphere and entertainment were enjoyable, but the service was frustratingly slow, even though the staff were friendly. We waited over 20 minutes for cutlery, despite it not being busy. After asking several staff members, we ended up borrowing some from another table, and by that time, our food was cold. When the cutlery finally arrived, our starters were already over. We didn’t want to complain as it was a celebration, but it was quite annoying. The cocktails tasted more like mocktails, lacking any noticeable alcohol, although they were nice. I would consider returning for the fun vibe, just be prepared for the music to be quite loud!

An Amazing Experience

This venue is fantastic! We hired them for our company anniversary, and they truly exceeded our expectations. Initially, we were concerned about the transition of some staff, but everything went smoothly. They managed to cater for around 40 to 45 people, providing welcome drinks, prosecco, wine, a DJ, and a photo booth, all organized beautifully. The staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. I didn’t get to enjoy my lamb neck fully as my plate was cleared while I stepped away, but they kindly replaced it with jerk chicken, which was delicious. I also loved the Arepa—highly recommend it! We will definitely consider this venue for future events, whether for work or with friends and family.
