Appointment was fine, until the younger staff took over to take my glasses order. The deals didnt make sense.. buy one pair for £70 (originally £110) or buy one get one free (£110 for both pairs) or buy one get a second half price. I questioned the logic but staff member just laughed. I said id take buy one get one free. Upon collection I ended up with 1 pair with antiglare coating somehow. The only resolution by the manager was to return my glasses and pay an extra £40. She said they would remove the lenses and replace with non anti glare and they would order another pair. I waited long enough for the first pair. Customer service was non existent. Ophthalmologist was great although I also think they are on commission as she was trying to sell extras even at the point of having the eye test. Ill use independents from now on.
Staff brilliant, professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. First Class service. I had eye laser surgery in hospital recently after a torn retina situation, once discharged I then went to Specsavers Maldon Essex to have new very comprehensive eye tests and order new frames and lenses: staff were great.
