Review Time
After eye check received new glasses, they were very uncomfortable, but changing frames was honoured… the new ones were comfortable but blurry, I gave them time to get used to, but then requested new eye check as felt things were not correct. At this appointment my glasses were checked, and I had another eye check, I think it was more thorough and resulted in yet another pair of glasses as the prescription differed. I very much appreciated this attention, but feel the experience could have been avoided. Certainly no fun walking around with blurry vision!
I have toric daily disposable lenses fron Specsavers. They are expensive at nearly £50 for a month’s supply but competitors are no cheaper.The shop-based service and eye checks are good.The one thing that really riles me is the inflexibility around holidays/ getting orders early because of travel. Lensmail is dispatched with 2-3 days’ grace - that is, your new lenses arrive in the nick of time and not a moment before.They will not expedite deliveries if you are going to be away whilst deliveries are due - it’s bad luck if your 3-Monthly delivery is due in the middle of your two week summer holiday. Because of this I have occasionally needed to buy additional lenses from third party suppliers to cover the gap at a cost of £68 - really, reallt annoying when I’m paying a lot as it is.

The team at Catford store are so welcoming and polite. I needed replacement reading glasses. I was greeted by a lovely young lady called Olivia,whom looked up my details on their computer. I chose my glasses and everything was all done for me. So a great service including notification to collect.
