Review Time
After my eye test I was told I could order single vision lenses. When they arrived I discovered I couldn't clearly view information in my car dashboard. I returned to the store to explain the problem and they tried to convince me to buy varifocals. Eventually they requested a replacement pair with an extended range, but they obviously weren't happy. Why couldn't they do that in the first place? It felt like this was to get me to qualify for VDU glasses and spend more money. They kept saying "but you can see better in the distance?". What's more important? Being able to read my dashboard or seeing clearer something two miles away? When I asked, I was also told the best thing for failing eye sight is to rest them. Why are eye muscles the only ones in the body we don't exercise if they are weak? It's total nonsense.
