I've purchased several 9 to fives before at the exact same size and width. The last batch that arrived in January are noticeably baggier and wider - even if the measurements are the same as before. The fabric is also different and thicker than it was before just a few months ago. Disappointed with the decline in quality and will look for another trouser maker.
The service for my order was efficient, and the items arrived well-presented with a generally good fit, though they were slightly larger than expected based on the sizing guide. Unfortunately, the material and functionality didn't meet my expectations. Advertised as soft and stretchy, they felt heavier and stiffer than any chinos I've tried in the past. I hoped they'd become more comfortable over time, but they did not, and are now set aside for donation.

I've been off them for nearly a year, with my last purchase being the Hackney cords. I resisted the 20% discount on Black Friday, but the 25% off on Cyber Monday broke my resolve! I quickly ordered the Nocturne cords and needed them fast! After arranging next-day pickup, I eagerly collected them and felt that familiar joy only a new pair can bring. I hope the marketing team doesn't tempt me too soon! Only this brand can do this to me—great fit, wonderful color options, and helpful staff.

I'm pleased to have received another pair of trousers, and as always, they are excellent. These Moleskin fives are of very nice quality. Once you have your size sorted, ordering is a breeze. I find this brand so reliable that I no longer shop elsewhere for casual trousers. While not the cheapest, the quality is consistent and dependable.
To be honest, my last purchase was two pairs of Heroes back in 2018, so I can't fault their longevity or quality. However, I needed replacements and requested a specific pair as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, things have changed over the years. The material is heavier, the cut has altered (tighter calves), and the pocket lining is different. What was once practical has now become less functional, and I'm not pleased with these changes.
