This has been the most frustrating experience for a basic background check. I submitted my form on 31.10.2025 and have yet to receive any updates regarding the check. I contacted the support team, and they keep stating that it has been escalated to their internal team, but nothing has progressed. They claim it takes 24 to 48 hours for a response, but I have heard nothing. Very disappointing and frustrating service...

Now, for the first time being vetted by this service, they keep asking for more information. Just received another email from them expressing concern about overlapping rental dates! Yes, it happens! Some people allow themselves a few days for a smoother transition during a move!

If it were up to me, I wouldn't even give this company a single star. This experience has been a nightmare; they are taking an eternity to review the documents and provide no proper responses. The website is inadequate, and the team managing this service is unprofessional. It's been over a month, and my documents are still pending without any feedback. We need to take action against such contractors who waste people's time and peace of mind.
I received a strange email from a company I had never heard of, asking for personal information that I would never share with a stranger. It turned out to be from this service, but using a different name. An utterly bizarre interaction; I told them to leave me alone.
This is the most incompetent service I have ever encountered. Their verification process is laughable. They can only verify the simplest cases and cannot even locate the website of a foreign university to verify my diploma. Communication is painfully slow; it takes them ten days just to ask me the same question I have already answered. A complete waste of time.
This has been the most frustrating experience imaginable. I previously submitted my documents for a background check before a buyout, and somehow all my documents disappeared. Now, I am forced to use a system that can't even recognize a UK postcode. Utterly ridiculous.
It took over a month to get references sorted out. They had a limited understanding of contractors and how to contact accountants for references. They claimed to have reached out to banks I’ve worked with, umbrella companies, and agents who got me contracts, but when I called these places, they said they received no emails from this service. They have my HMRC PAYE information and are now saying I’m not cooperating and want bank statements. I have ruled out joining a pension company permanently due to the lack of progress in getting references done.
