Dreadful customer support. I had new Richmond 100DF DX delivered in August 2025. £2,500 of cooker. It has been faulty since the 1st day, and the customer services team is uselessly disjointed. The support team can only book service engineers, who are from Pacifica who emphasise they are 3rd party so then can only make recommendations. You cannot speak with customers services, all you can do is book an an engineer. After sales support will not speak and are very unresponsive, the home delivery team appear to have 1 employee who answers the phone so be prepared to wait over 2 hours for an answer (I am serious about this). Chat bot gives out the wrong email addresses, wrong telephone numbers and incorrect information about the cooker. Total and utter shambles.Amateurish, unprofessional and deeply inadequate.
I bought a STOVE one year ago , its still under warranty and its impossible to get it repaired.
I paid over 4000 euros for the appliance. GlenDimplex France went broke so its been impossible to get service or spare parts.
I have called GlenDimplex Ireland, Pacifica UK and am just like a ping pong ball , not one responds to email or gives help via the phone.
These cookers are visually appealing but unfortunately do not perform. Even if your cooker is brand new and freshly installed, you’ll encounter the same issue: "We don't have the parts." The top oven element failed on the very first day of use. I can only give 1 star because I managed to get a refund through insurance, but now I face the hassle of finding another cooker, paying for installation again, and dealing with additional insurance costs, which feels like a significant inconvenience. They look great but simply don't work, with no available parts... or so they claim. Even the technician mentioned they aren't built to last, and clearly, they don't even last a single day. What’s the point of selling attractive, expensive cookers that fail to operate from day one and lack replaceable elements? It feels like a scam, as if they hope people will forgo insurance and just buy another cooker. It’s incredibly disappointing. A cruel joke. They look fantastic, but it’s all in vain if they don’t function. A total waste of time. To be frank, it's utterly frustrating! If you need a cooker that actually works, consider a different brand! This feels like a rip-off with zero customer support or concern.
I had a minor issue with our new stove's cooling fan. The representative who took my call explained the problem and promptly arranged for a service engineer to fix it. Excellent and precise customer service, and the stove itself is fantastic! (According to our seasoned expert: The pizza program is incredible.)
The representative quickly organized an engineer call-out for a cooker issue that was beyond its warranty. While the cost was clear and not inexpensive, it was still more affordable than replacing the cooker. Having a qualified technician assess the cooker was crucial for me. They also explained what the cost would be if a repair wasn't feasible and assured me of a guarantee on the work. Thank you!
I had to reach out to the support team about the noise and duration of the fan operation on the range cooker. The manual lacks troubleshooting guidance, leaving me uncertain if it's normal. The representative mentioned it was just the cooker cooling down, and only after I pressed for more information did they offer to arrange a modification appointment. I also pointed out that steam escapes from the tall oven and that the door doesn’t seem to close properly to the main oven, but again, I wasn’t sure if this was typical. Overall, the customer service was quite dismissive.
