Review Time
Booking process was easy. Great deals. I had an issue where I needed to add an extra person to my booking for transfers only. I used live chat and they sorted this out for me straight away. The agent was called Bethany. She was very polite and helpful. I've never used Sunshine before. So far I'm very impressed.
Horrendous company. Booked all inclusive holiday for 8 people. When I asked hotel what time christmas dinner is served was asked "well did you book". Advised no one told us this when booking in. Hotel agreed to try and "squeeze us in at 8pm.but no guarantees ". So had to find somewhere outside the hotel to book on the day! Which cost alot! Hotel said take it up with sunshine holidays. When we returned home the next day, I complained to them. Also advising them shower in room didn't work, and when it did it was ice cold or very hot (we had children with us). Hotel staff said " your not the only ones with the problem, there's a fault" again told sunshine holidays, to be told sorry but nothing they can do as we didn't contact them on holiday. Well, not everyone has Internet or working phones abroad. Sorry is not good enough, even when asked for sunshine holidays manager to contact me, we again told sorry. Thats it. Do NOT BOOK with them!!!!
The stay at the resort in Hurghada was simply wonderful. The prices were unbelievably low, and I couldn't find any faults. Communication through live chat was excellent. Hurghada itself was outstanding, so much so that I've already booked another trip for the same time next year in October. Additionally, I've planned three more holidays to different destinations. I can only say, keep up the great work!
The trip was well organized, and the hotel was charming and matched the description. It was more affordable than the same holiday offered by another provider. However, I was let down by the sharing of information with a third party for excursions.
Quick booking but be very careful not to make a mistake as even though they ask you to contact them immediately once you are booked you will not be able to talk to anyone, you have to chat to the useless Sunny AI chat or the other my sunshine chat line sun just keeps going around and around for hours, they are also very quick to grab your cancelation money if you have to cancel which our daughter had to as i made a mistake on the dates by 2 days and as i had booked 3 sperate bookings it was cheaper for her to cancel and rebook, i have used this company many times in the past but i will be very wary about booking with them again due to the very bad customer service
I booked a holiday with Sunshine holidays only to discover I had booked the wrong date. I requested a date change via the sunshine app. The following day a lady called me only to discover I had again asked for the wrong dates but nothing was to much trouble she changed the date to the correct ones. Everything I requested was dealt with straight away. Excellent service. Many thanks
