Review Time
We travel regularly with BA and I have to say for the most part the on board service is below average. However, we flew from Heathrow to Johannesburg on the 22/2/26 on BA 55 and it was the most fabulous experience. Special mention must go to Nas and Jack who are a credit to BA. Their service was the best we have ever experienced and when I told them it was my husband’s 65th birthday, they treated us to a glass of sparkling wine! The flight was full, as usual but nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every flight had a Nas and Jack. Thank you so much, guys - you were wonderful!!
I got a British Airways credit card for miles, and the miles appear to be absolutely useless. Why am I paying $95 a year for useless benefits? Can't use the miles to book a flight. Can't even use the miles to upgrade a seat. Lousy rewards card!
This is unbelievable. I’ve just spent the last four hours listening to my partner trying to get through to BA because the flight to Puerto Vallarta is still showing as going ahead, even though the carrier, American Airlines, has emailed to say she can change the flight due to the cartel bombings in the city.
The problem is that BA says they can’t see any record of American Airlines allowing changes under these circumstances. Meanwhile, the British government has issued a warning advising against travel to Puerto Vallarta because of the cartel violence.
I genuinely can’t understand why BA can’t simply pick up the phone and speak directly to American Airlines to sort this out. It’s beyond frustrating.

I've been waiting for a response to a refund request for one month and no update.
I have tried calling, using your Live Chat and it's got me nowhere.
Sent in a formal complaint two months ago and received NO reply. Not even an acknowledgment. Never again. Cannot recommend, not even to my enemy.
My seats were broken on both legs of the LHR>HKG return. Causing a seriously uncomfortable 14hours both ways.
Both planes were extremely DIRTY and cabin crew unprofessional.
I submitted a long list of further complaints, but BA clearly couldn’t care less.
My opinion is save your money and choose a different carrier. I fly long haul a lot, but only my second time with BA - never again not even if it was a good deal, which this experience wasn’t anyway.
I cannot thank them enough for the absolutely wonderful experience you gave to my son on his first ever flight. It was so special and he will never forget the wonderful memory. Thank you for the card, log book, sticker and postcard! We will only ever fly BA again
I should even give this one star, cancelled our connection flight while fly to the next airport, customer service are absolutely shocking new staff are needed. They told us while at the next airports that our baggage didn’t make the flight absolutely disgraceful save ur money and time.

Policy which excludes kids from having access to the lounge. I am a silver member which has access to the lounge and normally I allowed to invite my wife and kid.
This time the staff declined access to the lounge for my 6years daughter because it counts as extra guest.
Well done BA for behaving as low cost company. Time to travel with other company going forward.
British Airways has consistently delivered the most frustrating and disappointing travel experiences I have ever had.
Paying approximately €600 for a short-haul flight to London, only to be forced at the gate to check my cabin luggage — despite complying with size regulations — is unacceptable. This happens repeatedly, with no clear explanation and no consistent enforcement of rules.
The lack of logic, transparency, and customer respect is astonishing. For an airline that markets itself as premium, the service standard is shockingly poor.
This was the last time I will spend my money on British Airways. I will never fly with them again
All of our luggage was not loaded onto the plane. The airline lost the checked luggage of 3 adult business-class passengers. BA has not provided any status updates in 18 hours. Communication has been nill. We are all very disappointed, as we arrived earlier than recommended and paid for premium seating.
