The car was not washed well at all. I took the car through the E Vista WAy, Vista CA 92084 location twice in the past week and it came out covered in bird poop all over, This location has a very defective cycle and the brushes barely touch my car.
It’s been over a year and I can no cancel my membership, I’ve been given wrongly written e mail address to not work in my attempt for cancellation, and even sending to the correct one i am still being charged. Reading the other person’s experiences I realize how badly managed of a company this is and only taking people’s money and not taking care of its customers
I opened a membership to this car wash. Its one where you drive up and it recognizes your license plate and you drive in. After the 3rd time in a row of it not being able ti recognize my car I went inside to cancel. Only to find out that they had my credit card attached to someone else's account! Canceled immediately. Now months later I find out they are STILL charging me for someone else's account AND have opened a second account in my name that has never been used. Manager sees the mistake and refuses to help in any way other than just doing thr can cancel. Refused to get in touch with customer service or corporate for me. Just gave me an email address and sent me away. Straight up credit card fraud!
June 29, 2023 at approximately 3 pm I was motioned by an employee onto the conveyer of the Super Star Car Wash at 1350 South Melrose Drive Vista. I put my car in neutral as instructed and allowed the conveyer to pull my car into the wash. At that point my windshield was covered with foam restricting my visibility to zero feet. A few minutes later I felt my car hit the pickup truck in front of me. I cleared the windshield of foam and saw an attendant had stopped the wash and was talking with the driver in front of me, whose brake lights were on. Upon exiting the wash the driver in front of me drove away. I pulled around to the side of the wash and informed the manager my car had sustained damage and that I suspected the driver in front of me braked causing the accident. I filed an incident report with the wash indicating this, and the manager dissuaded me from calling the police to file a report. The manager informed me that video indicated it was in fact a MALFUNCTION of the car wash and that a roller had held the pickup back while the conveyer dragged me into the rear of the pickup. He indicated corporate would be in touch. June 30 I received an email from Stephanie M. of Super Star Car Wash informing me they would investigate (claim 149658) and a decision would be forthcoming. I thanked her for her prompt response. Also on June 30, I went back to the wash to take a picture of the incident report because I had neglected to do so. The manager again was very up front, saying it was a malfunction and corporate would take care of the damage. Ms. M. emailed me once a week saying a "decision" would be forthcoming. Each time I asked her not to destroy the video evidence of the accident. I also received a preliminary verbal estimate to repair the damage of at least $2,500. July 24, I emailed Ms. M. that due to her nonresponsiveness, I would be moving ahead with formal steps to get Super Star Car Wash to take responsibility so I can begin repairing my vehicle. I gave her one week to respond which she did not do. July 31 I filed a claim with my insurance company and a complaint with the BBB. While my car was finally being repaired by my insurance company, and triggered by the BBB complaint, Ms. M emailed me to submit three estimates, with the caveat that they still did not admit liability. My car was repaired at a cost of $3,800 to my insurance company. They will subrogate for me to recover cost of repairs at this point, however, I still had to pay a $500 deductible out of pocket. I would like Super Star Car Wash to send me a check for $500, which is more than fair, considering I am not charging them for the rental car I needed during repairs. They have my address.
