I had a great experience with Sweetpea & Willow! They provided accurate advice on Eichholtz furniture specs and delivery lead times (unlike other vendors I've contacted). Shipment from Europe was prompt, home delivery was well organized and installation service was properly white-gloved (special thanks to Andy & Andrew).
I am currently awaiting a substantial refund that was confirmed would be processed within a specific timeframe but has not been received.
Despite multiple attempts to contact the company via email and phone, I have received no response. Live chat is unavailable and phone calls direct customers back to email. Communication appears to have stopped entirely.
As a small business, this has had a significant impact on my cash flow and is extremely concerning.
Based on my experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and ensure they are comfortable with the level of communication and service before placing an order.
I hope the company addresses this matter urgently and restores confidence.
I don’t normally leave negative reviews but as I have exhausted all other options I have no choice. I was asked to purchase a mug for a family member for Christmas which was purchased 3rd December 2025. I’ve never shopped at Sweetpea and Willow before; when I realised the lead time was 3 weeks I was disappointed but then thought I would receive it in time for the family member’s birthday at the end of February. To date I have still not received the item. I have chased it with the team to be told they would ask the supplier. My subsequent message does not appear to have been delivered. The mug was not expensive (and I assume this is why my order has not been chased, and why communication does not seem to be important to the team) however the principle of ordering an item to wait over 2 months for it to arrive is unacceptable. From reading the reviews it seems that this is a common theme for this company. What a shame as supporting independent and/or family businesses is extremely important to my family and me. I will be attempting to contact for a refund if I hear nothing else. I would not recommend using this company unfortunately. Spend your money elsewhere.
Worst company ever to deal with all of a sudden you can’t contact by email and they don’t ever answer calls and now in 2026 the answerphone says because of Covid that they are running with a reduced staff and to leave a message and they never ever get back to you AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I recently bought two wall lights from S & W and when I have tried to contact the company by phone, I only get an answering service that says "due to Covid 19 restrictions, we are operating with a small team, and we will answer emails only." Seriously, this is 2026!I have sent multiple emails which have gone unanswered. I have no idea when / IF I am ever going to receive my order. Absolutely unprofessional.
Totally disappointed in the way we’ve been treated we ordered 4 barstools totalling £1400 only two arrived but trying to get the other two has now become impossible. They won’t answer the phone answer any messages We paid using Klarna so hopefully we can claim back what we’ve not received as somehow I don’t think we’re going to receive the other two chairs now.
Ordered and paid for goods on 21 November with promised 4 - 6 week delivery. No comms since, phones not being picked up(recorded Covid message), chat does not work and no reply to emails sentReally disappointing- just want our money back now
Ordered Travertine coffee table, waited 5 weeks for it to be produced. Arrived late last Friday damaged. large crack line extending across table. Again i understand that things occasional can be faulty but worst part is absolutely no customer service. Phone lines are shut and using outdated auto message: due to covid 19 staff is short and experience high volume of calls. Whatsapp is not functioning, instagram comments are closed for public. nobody responding to emails. Its surprising that a company with such a solid track record is willing to risk its reputation over something as basic as customer communication.
I purchased a rug and want to return it as it. I have emailed twice and completed the online returns form and I have had no response. I emailed a contact there and now receive a bounce-back email. Their live-chat does not work and on facebook you can’t message them and comments are restricted. This is not a transparent company. I will report them to the Consumer Service if I don’t hear from them soon.
Ordered 4 barstools from S&W only 2 arrived . I called them and explained the situation. Hanna who I spoke to said she would investigate but wouldn’t give me a timeline as to when she would get back to me with any more information. I have tried to call her back but there is a bizarre message about having a limited team due to civid 19 … that been over a week now and heared nothing at all . They have not responded to emails phone calls or DMs from me or my partner. These stools are an expensive purchase … so buyer beware !! . SWEETPEA and WILLOW can you please get back to your customers who have paid a lot of money to you .
