0 start, My contract ended in November 2025, Talk talk confirmed services terminated and the equipment was returned the following day the contract ended. However, they are still charging me and sending me bills. They tried to charge me prorated fees and late fees but I was paying all in advance i dont owe you nothing! I raised a complaint, and a manager contacted me. He apologised and credited the account with the amount they charged me with in early January 2026 confirmed all do e! I thought things had ended, NO WAY! I’m still receiving bills, and the account has never been closed. What do you want TALK TALK!

I’ve been trying to contact this company for several days after they sent an engineer out to fix my internet connections. The engineer told me that I wouldn’t be charged for the visit as it was Talktalks equipment that failed. However, they have gone ahead and charged me £75 for the visit. I’m now finding it impossible to speak with anyone to see about getting the amount refunded. I was told that somebody would phone me back within 48 hours. That time has passed, and I haven’t been called.
I’ve chatted with several advisors on WhatsApp and have got absolutely nowhere. In all, a very frustrating and time consuming experience. Maybe that’s what they want, hoping that I’ll just give up.
I would not rate at all!! My 86 year old mother who lives alone has lost all telephone and internet connection which has in turn made her careline nul and void. I have called and only been able to register with an automated service which states an Engineer will look into it. The chat line is AI and worse than useless - I am at my wits end as I live 200 miles away and have no way of contacting her!!!

Extremely poor technical customer service. You will definitely get passed around to lots of different "agents" if there is any sort of difficulty with your connection. They don't seem to have a clue about the finer details of accounts, so you just keep getting passed on and on. It feels like they have a group of people in a room handing you from one person to the next because none of them have the actual answers. Avoid, and pay more, don't get taken in by the cheap prices!
Terrible customer service.Absolute trash. From putting customers on hold for hours to taking money from their accounts with their consent. Their customer service assistants are very rude when talking to disgruntled customers. Join Talktalk at your own peril. Wish there was an option for a half star rating.
I joined TalkTalk at the beginning of 2025 through CityFibre and, unfortunately, experienced ongoing connectivity issues from the start. Despite raising complaints, it took an incredible 10 months for someone to properly address and rectify the problem. Once resolved, the connection finally became stable — but it should never have taken that long.
We then moved to a new property, and the connection there was absolutely shocking. To make matters worse, I was incorrectly told that I was outside of my cooling-off period which is untrue, (we had to sign up for a new contract due to house move). After challenging this and mentioning that I would escalate the matter to the Ombudsman, they eventually agreed to cancel the contract (free of charge) so I could move elsewhere.
I will say that the Complaints Department staff were polite and friendly, and they did respond as quickly as they could. However, the fact that it took 10 months to resolve a core service issue is extremely disappointing and, frankly, embarrassing for a company of this size.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing TalkTalk. I will not be returning as a customer.
Two weeks without Internet, three engineers came and didn't fix an issue, new router never arrived, seven hours in talktalk support chat without a real help!!!!!!!
Extremely disappointed and frustrated!
While setting up a contract with TalkTalk it was agreed upon that I'd be notified to the end of the contract by post as the prices a increaded by a lot. When it came to the end, they hadn't sent any form of post therefore taking the money directly out of my account. I did speak to then via chat but they're unwilling to resolve. Stay well away
Despite cancelling their awful service, keep sending me bills using different credit companies and each time multiplying the amount.
Never again and will not recommend to any of my families, or friends.
Have been trying to cancel this service for a month now. Internet was intermittent at best. Never running at full speed. Phone line was always problematic. hen I tried to cancel (out of contract) this was nothing short of a nightmare. The phone lines are not manned as per what they advertise. You end up BOT chatting. The app continually logs you out. there is also a limit to the number of times you can log in. Once you reach that limit you have to wait for 30 minutes till you can log back in. This problem has been ongoing for over a month. or does this just happen when you try to cancel a service? Avoid this company at all costs. There are much more reliable and cheaper options out there.
