Visited the local branch here four times in the past two months looking for specific items that were listed as in stock on the app. Found maybe half of them on the shelves, was told by employees the rest were probably in the back, and waited each time while someone went to check and came back empty handed. The app showing something as available and the store actually having it are two completely different things at my location. At some point the disconnect between the digital inventory and the physical shelf becomes a customer service failure.

Used Target drive up religiously for about a year and it genuinely worked well, fast, accurate, and the staff was always friendly. Something changed in the last few months and I do not know if it is staffing or volume but the experience has deteriorated noticeably. Wait times have doubled, I have had two orders with missing items in the past six weeks, and the last time I drove up nobody came out for eighteen minutes. I sat there watching other cars get served while my app showed my order as ready. Lost confidence in a service I used to love.

This company said they accept returns and since i trust their company i bought a perfume which turns out to be a fake, i asked for it to be returned since it said they accept returns and then said that they wont accept that particular return. I did more digging and it was because it was sold by a 3rd party seller. I hate Target and will never ever buy or promote their services. Worst customer service ever

We purchased a new record player for my daughter's birthday. We bought it December 20th and gave it to her for her birthday. Because of their return policy we had until January 26th to return it. When we gave it to her the speakers did not work and the record player itself stopped working the day after the the return window. We got it for her because she loves Stranger Things and it was the last one. They would not help and it was a wasted purchase. We will never recomend Target to anyone and will not set foot in one again. I used to like Target but its clear they do not care about their customers.

Target card services are the worst. So even after paying off a card including wrongly charged fees as well as a 20.00 return checking fee for an online payment that was not authorized….card still not working. Customer service says when the billing cycle ends updates whatever they do the card will work. Now this card has been paid off since January. Billing cycle is mid February. I should cancel this card.

Target’s customer service and return policies are terrible, and this is exactly why customers are leaving for Walmart, Costco, and Amazon. I bought three boxes of diapers with a discount. When my baby outgrew them, I tried to exchange two boxes for a larger size. Target refused to treat it as an exchange and instead processed it as a return, stripping away the entire discount.
Rather than waste more time arguing, I returned everything, took my business elsewhere, and closed my Target Circle accounts. Policies like this don’t build loyalty—they push customers away and lead companies like Target out of business.

Came back in today for the first time in a LONG time and it was made clear why I stopped shopping here. Apparently they would rather literally trash an item then honor the price on the tag. Extremely wasteful on the company's behalf and SO off-putting as a consumer. Do better.

Despite the negative reviews, I really appreciate this store. It is consistently clean and well-stocked compared to the local competitors. The checkout process generally runs smoothly, and I plan my visits to dodge the busy hours. Their curbside pickup is also significantly quicker than others.

Unpleasant experience with the cashier

The cashier at 1 PM today, 1/13/26, was extremely rude. We didn't notice a long line and approached her for assistance. She responded with an angry expression and raised voice, pointing out the line. There was no need for her to react that way. I will not return.
