The internet in my area is terrible! It’s so slow and constantly disconnects that streaming videos is almost impossible. Online school, work, and even basic browsing are a nightmare. This situation needs urgent action! Providers must upgrade the infrastructure, add more servers, and expand fiber-optic connections immediately. It’s unacceptable in 2026 that people are expected to cope with such poor service.

Genuinely diabolical and unbelievable

Single-handedly the greediest isp I have ever had the misfortune of using. The internet in Egypt is on par with standards from the 2000s, long before remote work/education, streaming, and many more commodities that people in the rest of the world take for granted (which they honestly should, in this day and age). The UN considers the internet to be an enabler of human rights. It is not in the slightest surprising that even such a little commodity is suppressed considering Egypt does not care about its citizens, and many live in states that are direct violations of human rights (this is 100% besides the internet, but in reference to the government as a whole, which has very large shares in WE). Their excuse for such restrictions is poor infrastructure, although Egypt is ranked 2nd in the world in internet cables. Say the infrastructure part is true (it is not), they have no plans to improve it —stable connection has been a need since the COVID pandemic— the government spends their stolen money on luxuries only the top 1% and tourists can afford. You pay an amount that is high for the average Egyptian’s salary (and inflation is rising while wages are frozen cold), let’s say, for 130 GB per month—to have the grand and glorious honor of watching videos in 360p—until you are demanded to recharge before the month ends. It is unfortunate that nothing can be done about not just this, but the governing body’s shamelessness towards its people as a whole. Honestly WE only encompasses a small part of this review. I’ve lived outside of Egypt for the greater part of my life, and returned for college. It upset me to see how much the ignorance/جهل of the people is being used to manipulate them into believing basic commodities to be grand luxuries. It is even more unfortunate that the country has failed these people into falling in the deep abyss of ignorance.

Telecom Egypt or "WE" is the worst…

Telecom Egypt or "WE" is the worst internet experience you can have. You pay a lot for a limited quota, and when it ends, your speed drops to 250 KB/s — that’s inhumane.Worst of all, they manipulate Speedtest servers to appear fast while all other servers are painfully slow. This is pure deceptionThey scam not only people but also companies, businesses and anything they might squeeze money from.Scammers with Limited internet packages scamming everyone

Extremely Poor Service and Outdated Data Policy

Telecom Egypt is by far one of the worst internet providers I’ve ever dealt with. You pay an unreasonable amount of money for a tiny 140GB data cap — and once that’s used up, you’re forced to pay again as if you're buying tomatoes from the market, not internet in 2025. It’s frustrating, outdated, and honestly feels like a scam. The concept of limited internet in this day and age is ridiculous. This company clearly has no interest in progress or customer satisfaction. Avoid if you have other options.

The worst isp in egypt

The worst isp in egypt, it controls everything even infrastructure and it limits everything even gigabytes under fiber optics cables claiming that there's nothing called unlimited internet, they treat ppls like they got no minds as we know the internet depends on speeds and cables bandwidth not the much gigabytes it shares

Worst company in existence

Tell you what, garbage is better than this money hungry company. who provides limited internet in Egypt and bribes the government and the President of Internet and communication to stay limited. they treat the internet like food you get a plate and that's all. like imagine having a full buffet and getting only 1 item out of it.

They say the internet is unlimited

They say the internet is unlimited, but that’s a lie. You have to pay for a limited amount of gigabytes, and once that quota is used up, the speed drops to 256 Kbps — an official statement from
