This internet provider delivers a terrible experience. You pay a high price for a limited data allowance, and once you use it up, your speed plummets to an unbearable 250 KB/s.. Yes limited internet in 2025!Even worse, the provider appears to manipulate Speedtest results by only lifting the speed limit for Ookla's servers, making their service seem fast when, in reality, all other connections are agonizingly slow. This is a clear case of deception.
Literally if I can put ZERO stare I will . Telecom Egypt is one of the worst internet service providers you could ever imagine , bad prices , poor customer service, stupid policy and above all of that the INTERNET IS LIMITED . You had to pay them multiple times just to watch videos on YouTube at 360 . Could you tell Even imagine that
I guess I would like to inform you, dear friends, if you don’t extend your tourist Visa on time this WE phone company will block your SIM card right away!I still have two weeks of the legally stay in Hurghada but My SIM card is blocked. So you pay this WE company to block your phone! How’s it?
I purchased the WE Gold Line, and they informed me that I would need to pay a deposit, which would be refunded after six months. However, when I requested the refund after nine months to cover my line payment, they refused. This company is a scam. I strongly advise against purchasing the WE Gold Special, especially for our American community, as you'll be shocked by the excuses they make to keep your money.
I don't recommend anyone using any company in Egypt at all they're all scammer and scum imagine living on 140gb per month with limted speed after ur quote it finishes thats it and it doesn't last for more than 10 days u have to renew it at least 3 times, idk what they waiting for everyone hates them and in 2025 and yea Egypt still has the worst internet providers.
Extremely bad experience,It has been a week now that I have no internet at home, I am paying 780 LE per month for this garbage!!!! I submitted several complaints via the mobile application and I called the customer service twice a day till now ( but nothing was done.)I had to get a myfi and payed 500 LE for 30 gb internet from vodafone to manage.... still the speed is not enough.I NEED THE INTERNET AT HOME TO BE FIXED.No-one CARES about customers. The only thing they could care about is the monthly bill!!!
system usually don't work efficiently, bad infrastructure, no sufficient training of customer service department employees.Number of customer service agents who understand and really intervene to solve customer problems is nearly zero. Telecom Egypt hires untrained agents who have zero understanding level. Those who respond to calls, emails, online inquires are useless in solving customer problems as they have no authority to solve any thing.Workers who are supposed to connect landline cables for customers to get the service are above all. They don't want to do their job. The first card they play is there is a cabin problem and it will be fixed in 5 days, one day, a week and so on. Different repeated additional time is all what you get without any actual move, and the final thing they resort to to is to write a report that the whole area don't have the technical ability for landline cables to get connected and the main cabin is stuffed or completed or whats so ever and that's the final card they play so no one can intervene to solve the problem and they are satisfied with this report.83 days have passed since the day of our contract with them to get a landline service and a single landline in the whole area haven't been connected. If you call customer service million times all you will get is to hit your head through a wall from their nonsense responses
Have you been to Egypt and tried Telecom Egypt's Air WIFI 4G service? and they called the company WE, not sure Why!I had the misfortune of using it for a few months while I was there, and it was a complete disaster.The internet connection was highly unstable, and the speeds were painfully slow. It was impossible to rely on for work or leisure activities. To make matters worse, the customer service experience was terrible. The representatives were unhelpful and unsympathetic, providing no solutions to the issues customers were facing.What was really frustrating was that the service was overpriced for the terrible quality of the internet connection and the poor customer service. It's really disappointing that such a large telecom company could offer such a subpar service.If you're planning a trip to Egypt and looking for a reliable and affordable internet service provider, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money on Telecom Egypt's Air WIFI 4G service.
