Review Time
We had a horrible experience with very delayed delivery of our order. If we knew it would take this long, we would have never placed the order which we intended to get for a very special event at our home. Although we communicated very clearly with Teakwood Warehouse, the customer service has been horrible. It took a long time to get any response, and now that our order has been sitting in storage for a week they are not responding at all. We have paid so much money for the shipment of this order for nothing. They are using some company that only has one truck to make the many deliveries they’re processing. What a rip off!! Until today we still have not gotten our furniture delivered. It’s been so frustrating dealing with them, they’re unprofessional and I would never recommend this company to anyone!
Ordered 17 furniture items, a cantilever umbrella with stand, and protective covers (~$19K). Seven minutes after our delivery crew departed, we noticed the main table support was cracked, at a construction glue joint (likely not reinforced sufficiently) and that one dining chair leg was scratched. We reached out to our sales rep immediately, who said she'd get it handled. We then heard from the Customer Service Manager (CSM) who said that we should have rejected the delivery because their policy states if the item isn't rejected at delivery, it won't be replaced. She agreed to waive that policy one time, but said we'd have to pay a $400 shipping fee for a replacement. We responded to say we didn't feel that was right, as it was our first purchase from TW, the delivery was delayed, and the delivery team did not instruct us to inspect before signing. We then received another response from TW's CSM restating their delivery rejection policy and agreeing to discount the shipping fee to $200, but that would be their final concession. Even though TW offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects, apparently if you don't notice the manufacturing defect immediately, it doesn't apply? 10/21/25 UPDATE: After leaving our initial review, we received another email from TW's CSM offering to waive 100% of the replacement shipping fee if we update our review to accurately reflect what transpired and the discounted shipping fee offer. To be clear, we were first told we had to pay a $399 replacement shipping fee, then that the fee would be discounted to $199.50, and then a $0 shipping fee if we update our review.
