Ordered floating shelves for Vinyls. Great designed shelves and they look fantastic ... highly recommended!Not sure why DHL sent an invoice for VAT when VAT was already paid (TEEbooks is VAT registered in the UK). However, I am sure TEEboks will sort this out.
Uk customers be warned of extra charges. Bought Teebooks shelves in February 2021 for £250 and was then contacted unexpectedly by Teebooks two months later to pay £60 import duty charge! Teebooks did not mention this tax at point of sale and clearly I would have not bought the shelves had I known of almost 30% extra charges ....Outrageous!
Hidden charges! I agree with all the other comments about shipping, I paid Vat and £25 shipping, and then DHL got in touch to demand £53 import tax, I was tempted to refuse but I already had a set of these shelves and they are indeed a great product but I didn't pay any of these charges for the previous delivery. So £78 to deliver, I understand it is prob because we have left the EU which I know was a mistake, but I didn't pay these charges for the previous delivery 2 weeks ago. What on earth is going on ??
I bought some bookcases. Although the shipping costs were advertised and paid for, they didn't mention the additional £53 I would have to pay DHL now to deliver to the UK. When I raised this with Teebooks directly, they basically said TOUGH LUCK. PAY UP!
Do not be fooled the prices published on their co.uk website in pounds. They don't tell you that you will be charged DUTY when the products arrive in the UK, which is not included in the price quoted on the site.Complete scam. Will not let this rest until its resolved.
Great product but let down my poor customer service. Ordered the recommended fixings from TEEbooks and followed the instructional video to install. Had installed various other shelves in our flat with fixings and never had an issue. One of the fixings completely melted and caused damage to our wall. We patched the hole and then used our own fixings to install the corner shelves and had no issues. Emailed TEEbooks to advise of what happened and was met by a response indicating it was our fault and the company had been using these fixings for 10 years with no issues. If we had done something wrong I wouldn't have bothered writing in but I did as we followed their instructions as described. Did not appreciate the response by customer service team and therefore will not be buying anything further from this company.
A complete scam !!!!!I ordered two T-shirt’s at the beginning of August 2020, 5 weeks later my items arrived....... did NOT resemble anything I had ordered . Constant emails between teeboke , was originally told they had sent replacement items as I had sent photographic proof of their mistake. After over a month I contacted them again , only to be told my items had been delivered. They hadn’t, the delivery details they sent me were for the first WRONG ITEMS , then I was told I could keep something I wouldn’t be seen dead in and yippee get 2$ off my next order ( as if I’m dim enough to do that again lol ) . Today the 9th November and I’ve been told I can pay to send them back and they’ll give me 3$ . Make sure you do not order anything from this company, and their items pop up on different online shops. I will not give up until I am fully reimbursed and I will report them to consumer standards. Don’t read their fake reviews THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!
