Fantastic data and coverage. During my stay in Australia, I purchased a $39 plan for 90 GB, and the connection was reliable. I had good coverage in almost all locations I visited, with only a few minor issues, which is typical for any provider. Highly recommended.
The company took my money, required my identification details, and activated the service a whole month earlier than I requested—then refused to reset my account or issue a refund. BEWARE of this dishonest conduct; it’s among the worst I’ve encountered in over 40 years in the tech industry.
This service feels like a scam—do not buy! I faced terrible service. After returning to New Zealand and purchasing an eSIM on promotion on November 4th, I thought I’d receive it quickly, but instead, I got an email stating a code would be mailed to me, taking 3-7 business days due to the promo option. It’s a joke! This is just a strategy to push full-price purchases. It’s now been over two weeks with no letter in sight. Instead of a code, I received another mailing that will also take 3-7 business days. What a waste of time! It truly feels like a scam.
I would give it less than one star if I could. Very poor coverage, customer service closes at 7pm and the only thing that ‘outperformed’ was the sales team at the airport when we arrived. We are traveling the great ocean road road and at 80% of the time we have no coverage, while other travelers have coverage. Telsim is a pure scam that sells you blue sky at the airport, k owing they will never see you again.
Telsim has a shit customer service they don't get back after.for the request I asked them about my esim no moving to another phone since I loss my phone were the esim was I have provided them my id which they request they keep saying someone will get back to me shortly and no one 4ver did telsim customer don't care about their customer and I have left a lot messages soni even called them.butnthey just say someone will get back toe.shortly.bit no one ever did so do not bother getting a phone service with this company as they are shit and sonwithbthe customer service I'm getting with them
DO NOT BUY THEIR PREPAID PLAN! I had the prepaid plan for a year when I was on a working holiday visa in Australia, and thought that since it was a one time purchase, it would end once the year was over. But just a few days ago, I got a tax invoice telling me that they had taken my money for yet another year. I tried to get through customer service to get a refund, since I won’t be using the mobile plan again, and they just said that since I had auto recharge enabled, they couldn’t do a refund? This is not something I have manually done, and there was in no way any consent from me for them to do this. No email or anything, asking me if I wanted to go through with the payment. Absolutely ridiculous, and I’m beyond frustrated with this company.
Telsim had auto recharge enabled by default without user consents and took ppls money without remorse. the Australia government is not doing anything to protect the consumers. Shame on the Government leaving Telsim doing all this. i would think the government has shares with Telsim.
