I have purchased a dragon teapot, a dragon tea cup, a crane teacup and a panlong coffee cup from this site. All were gifts, with the exception of the crane tea cup (I bought this for myself). They were all purchased in 2024. Sure they are expensive, but they are stunning and of great quality, exactly as pictured. The packaging/presentation is excellent. The cups are heavy, nice to hold, keep the tea warm and very easy to clean. The tea pot holds the equivalent of two cups (if using theirs), think it’s about 160 ML per cup. Obviously, when drinking green tea etc. you don’t normally have it as a 250 ml serve, like the standard Aussie measurement. I did my research and initially held off buying, mainly because of other scam site trust warnings, but eventually gave in. I really don’t know why they have an average trust score, I’ve found it best now to just use the well known sites like this one (trust-pilot) and product-review. The products arrived earlier than stated (usually within the week) which is great for international delivery. We did have a break with the (coffee) cup (an issue probably occurring in the kiln). There was an air bubble inside the top of the handle, so it broke off. A shame, because my husband loved the design, the handle made it very comfortable to hold and great for big hands. Anyway, I sent them an email with my order number, a photo, as well as date of purchase and within 24 hours I had a response offering me either a replacement or refund. I requested a refund. I was credited within the next 24 hours and the money was back in my bank within 5 days (even though it stated up to ten). Honestly, it’s probably the best return experience I’ve had from an international company. I found them great to do business with and I would definitely recommend Tenmokus, as well as purchase from them again.
The cup is ok. Our son will probably like it. A few comments: the cup is 170ml capacity but seems small. Our son brews tea in a pot so it should be ok but if you brew tea directly in your cup, it’s not a great fit. The coloring is NOT like the website. The Aurora on the website shows brilliant, very distinct pinks, blues, greens. The cup you receive is mostly one color, with no distinction between colors except a very little bit on the rim, it’s just kind of a solid holographic green inside and out. It was disappointing knowing what it could have looked like and then getting the one we did. It’s still ok but seeing the web photo gave a totally different expectation. So all in all, I like the cup but don’t love it. Just be aware, the cup will not look like the photo on their website.
The box came broken and the cup was actually not very nice looking. Not sure what happened, but it was dull and lifeless looking. When I requested to return it and get a replacement they told me I had to pay for my own shipping and handling both directions. So, I have a broken box and a subpar cup that was supposed to be a birthday gift for my sister. I guess I will just give her the cup without the box.
I adore Tenmokus teacups. Each cup’s shape and beautiful colors are works of art. I am obsessed with afternoon tea after a visit to London and find the cups to be the perfect size. My tea stays hot and I feel elegant while drinking my afternoon tea. The boxes enhance the feeling of how special each cup is.
These cups are absolutely stunning! We have many nice tea pots and cups of different styles and Tenmokus made a beautiful addition to our collection. They feel great in your hands and always make drinking tea an experience. We got a pair for our friends, who also appreciate them very much.
