I've been a customer for 30+ years and found all staff, whatever dept really helpful and understanding, fantastic company, customer service and overall talking great care of me personally! Highly recommend
It was easy to use the telephone banking and all my queries were dealt with, as I had tried to cancel a account online last year filled in forms, but account was never closed, now all is done, only downside is the 72 hours not being able to access accounts
Good communication and guidance via phone call. I had not received my c/c statement and I was informed the payment was due within a couple of days. My concern was where is my statement (still waiting for it) I would have been charged interest because I had not paid on time. Did they not send it or is it lost in the post?
The Tesco Credit card is recommended as the best of the supermarket options, and though the cashback is competitive, the accounting aspect is poor. Again, I have been advised that my statement is available, but it is not visible either online or when using the app. The website doesn't help to resolve the problem apart from offering a telephone number.
I completed an application on line to open a savings account on the 26th of January and received an email saying I would get a welcome pack through the post.
I deposited £200 into my new account but unfortunately needed to withdraw £100 back on 1st February due to unforeseen experiences I attempted this 5 times and each time it says it could not complete my request.
I rang Tesco bank for an answer as to why this happened I spoke to a surly lady who I think was not a happy person and after I explained my situation her reply to this was I hadn't signed and returned the letter in my welcome pack to which replied had I of been in receipt of the letter I would have returned it. I said that my infant relationship with Tesco bank was not going well and if I didn't receive the pack in short time I would have no other option than to close the account and find a more reliable way of saving rather than her saying it would be okay and sending a new pack out she rather hastily replied I can do that now! I was rather surprised at her response and if this is Tesco banks level of service heaven help my future relationship with them.
I fell behind on a single credit card payment and was bombarded with letters at my home—more than ten in just one month. The amount owed was only £25. I will not use this lender again due to their excessive communication.
