Review Time
I was going to wait to write a review after my sofa was to be delivered but no hope in this actually happening. Ordered a sofa from the Peterborough store and was told 6 to 8 weeks. 11 weeks on and still no sign of delivery. I have emailed them 3 times and completed the online form and finally received an email apooogising but no action on there part being taken. As I had not heard anything I popped in to the store. Was told they do not see or reply to emails and that the delivery to the store was due the following week. Would have been good customer service if they had notified me of this. The day after the expected delivery to store still not heard anything. I telephoned customer services and was told delivery had failed to the store. I telephoned the store and was told that it again had failed for the second time. The person I spoke to was obviously in a rush and did not want to speak to me. He did not even know if the sofa had arrived in store and had to check. He told me that he would find out what had gone wrong (why they did not do this the first time is beyond me, this is something they should in front of and aware of the issues) and I would receive a telephone call with an update. That was 2 days ago and no telephone call. I have again sent an email to them advising of my rights under the Consumer Rights Act to cancel the order if they do not deliver to home address by Friday 27th February and refund my money within 14 days. Have also contacted Trading Standards in respect of this,including their lack of treatment to their customers. I wish I had seen all these reviews before as I would not have placed an order with this shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs.

Nightmare company. I placed an order for two side tables and a nest of tables at the end of November, and the entire experience has been a complete nightmare. I received no delivery details at first, so I had to call to discover the nest of tables wasn’t in stock. After that, I arranged for the side tables to be delivered, but no one showed up despite me waiting all day. After countless phone calls, I was told the nest of tables would be in the week of February 4th and delivered the week of February 9th. I had to chase again on February 11th, and it was hastily rearranged for today, February 13th, between 9:30 and 12:30. This morning, the driver called to say he was far away and asked to come later (around 3:30). Then, just now, the store called to say the delivery was off because the van broke down. After all this, it might now be Monday, but I’ve told them to cancel and refund me if it doesn’t happen. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. It’s been a complete lack of communication and reliability.
Item damaged been trying to contact on social media, via their email and calling without answer saying their ops are too busy at the moment, my table wAs damaged when unpacking it and want this sorted this cost 600 and is not good enough and ignoring customer services emails is disgraceful.
This is our 2nd time buying furniture from The Furniture Warehouse in Bradenton.Both experiences were great with no problem.Our last experience was buying a piece of furniture and going to the warehouse and pick it up the same day!We worked with Alex and he was friendly, helpful and quick. We also had a great experience picking up our furniture. Easy to assemble and love the look. We’ve been very happy with all our furniture from this store.
Avoid this amateurish operationIrthlingborough Furniture Warehouse is the correct trading name. Poor quality furniture, lies, poor service, late or non delivery all in all a very very badly run and poorly managed business this place must be avoided at all costs you definitely will not be happy with all the lies and trash furniture you may have the misfortune to come across
Avoid this company like the plague! I ordered a matching set of furniture in April 2025. The items within it have been sent in dribs and drabs. I am still missing 3 items of furniture. I have not been able to obtain any communication from this company of any value. They are full of excuses. They have offered no form of refund or compensation despite requests.
Shocking service. Placed my order which was a preorder so didn’t expect delivery straightaway. Contacted them after a month of no communication or expected delivery date. Asked for the ordered to be cancelled as it wasn’t going to be here in time. They then gave me a delivery date. I explained it was too late and wanted to cancel my ordered. I’ve heard nothing since. Luckily I paid by credit card so have some protection. I’ve had to take it up with my bank to resolve. The furniture warehouse are just not answering my emails. I would avoid this company and if you do use them use a credit card for payment as extra protection.
Avoid is my best advice Shabby poor quality and extremely poor customer serviceMade an order in the Irthlingborough store mid August.We did not receive any form of communication regarding our items, since placing the order.Last week we chased up the order to find, that one item was discontinued and another was going to take another month to arrive.We were not happy to have 1 item substituted and wait another month for another.We requested a refund. This was not actioned! A text arrived at 5am the following morning. Saying all items were due for delivery today 20th October.The two man team implied all items were being delivered and built in the designated room.But the discontinued item was not present and the delivery men would not take back the order, they said I had to deal directly with the store. Both items delivered are substandard and I’m now looking to get a charge back if the items are not collected and we are refunded. Both items are damaged, shabby and extremely poor quality.
Had a tv unit delivered the deliver men where brilliant, thrn inspected my item to find there was makes on it contact Peterborough sent pictures stating it is not in perfect condition, asked for a replacement or a discount as not perfect, they have not responded to my last 3 emails, this piece was very expensive and the after service is not acceptable. Lovely furniture but poor service and faulty
