Review Time
Unprofessional and unresponsive. I was recommended by a letting agent to engage them for an eviction. The tenant was in the end evicted, after paying for bailiffs and dog handlers. But the tenant had presumably then changed the lock afterwards and I could not get any advice from the Landlord Group. I would only give them one star for service. Throughout the process, they were mostly mute with the only exception of sending bills. I had to chase them to send me the basic official documents and many times messages or emails were not returned. Together with a terrible letting agent (Purple Bricks), they were a nightmare for the last two years for me.
Top Class Service, I paid up front for the Section 21 to be issued to my tenant. Spoke with Marianne Steer on a Sunday. Although it was going to take a few months she was very realistic in her advise. Nothing was too much trouble every time I rang or emailed. Obviously they are very busy! with other work but Marianne Steer especially always tried to help. I was lucky in that my tenant moved out. They refunded me the money for the time that was not used and the court process. Not many law firms would do that!I would have no trouble in advising them to all my friends.
I was recommend the LandLord group to me by a letting agent. I made contact with them, spoke to a solicitor and was advised that they would come back to me after reviewing my paperwork. After 3 phone calls and a couple of emails i got a response to say the person dealing with it was on holiday for a week.as with all evictions time is of the essence and this has cost me over a week now. I have moved to another Solicitor who is more expensive but responds within hours and has already started work on the case ! i guess you get what you pay for !I have updated the letting agent so they dont recommend this company again !
Made an enquiry with this company to help evict my tenant after doing a google search. Never had this experience or required this kind of service before so naturally I wanted some more information and I had questions to ask which you would think with new enquires they would want to answer. However, email replies were slow to respond. When I did have a response and I asked more questions, I was told just to call instead or just told to read their website information. I did call even though it was difficult as I am abroad. However, I was greeted with a very non caring and brass attitude from the staff. There was completely no interest in whatsoever with my query, almost felt like I was bothering them when I asked if they knew about my enquiry or if I had to repeat.Very different to how they portray themselves on their website.Decided not to proceed at this point as this is not the kind of customer service you would want to represent you if they can simply not be nice at enquiry stage. Did not even get a chance to finish my sentence when I said "don't worry about it" before the phone was just slammed down on me! Great way to attract new customers! Terrible
Used them to evict a non paying, non communicating tenant. They asked for specific information then did everything for me including a solicitor to represent me at court. Real professionals. An excellent piece of work hassle free resulting in the courts finding everything in my favour. I would thoroughly recommend them.
