Overpriced and low quality is an understatement. And don’t buy their dumb cleaning protection plan. Getting a cleaning claim approved through their 3rd party company is like an act of God.

They say you’ll get reimbursed after 5 years if you don’t use it, but it’s for a paltry credit you can only use on furniture purchases with them of $999 or greater.

My order number was 0112841556 the people at this location were very rude and incompetent all I wanted was to see the living room set that I purchased at the Lombard location. I was very disappointed about the service that they provided that I decided to go back to Lombard location and cancel the order and buy a different set.

The RoomPlace has really poor customer service!

My husband & I found a sofa/love seat at the RoomPlace in Algonquin, IL at the beginning of Sept. We purchased them, but were on backorder. No problem. My husband found info online to get free delivery (it was going to cost approx $150.). He emailed the sales associate the info, & also left a msg to have him call us. The sales assoc never called us, never responded to the email we sent. We called again, no response. My husband ended up going in to the store to talk to our salesman to see if we would get free delivery. He was told this situation would be forwarded to the GM. Never heard from the GM either!! He emailed their customer service with all the info. He was called back, but said the woman could not have been any more rude! She said she'd follow up, but never did.I have worked in retail mgmt for years, & cannot even fathom not getting back to a customer!!! What poor customer service! After several weeks, we decided to see if this sofa/loveseat could be found elsewhere. We did find it online, for a better price than the RoomPlace. So we cancelled the RoomPlace order. My husband then got a call from customer service. He explained that if we had any issues after the delivery, we didn't know if anyone would respond or even care.I will not step inside a RoomPlace again. We were left hanging, no one, including the GM, ever felt it necessary to contact us. The epitome of poor customer service!!!

Michael was very Patient with us

Michael, did a great job helping us find the Livingr9om furniture we were wanting while makeup sure it worked in our space. He was patient with us and very helpful offering us sizes, prices and colors whenever needed. You made our shopping process, as smooth as could be especially with our indecisiveness. Thank you again.
