I am troubled by the poor quality of the sponge scourers and the company's choice to trade with a country that conflicts with their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy. The long transport distance from there to here is not environmentally friendly, and while cellulose products have some sustainability benefits, they still have significant environmental impacts.
I really hoped these sponges would help reduce our plastic use, but in my first box, three sponges were poorly manufactured, with the sponge not properly attached to the loofah. Despite the high price, quality control seems lacking. I've also faced issues with the sponges disintegrating quickly, and customer service has been unresponsive after my initial contact.
I’ve tried various products and found only the bamboo cloths meet my expectations. The loofah side of the sponge scourers is too rigid, and the copper scourers fall apart quickly. The rubber gloves become sticky and are too thin, while the cuffs roll down, which is quite inconvenient.
I really want this product to succeed. It cleans well on the sponge side, but the scourer is less effective. I can manage that, but the two parts of the sponge separated after just five uses. I appreciate the prompt response from the company and will continue using it to see if future sponges perform better.
I wanted to like these products due to their eco-friendly nature, but like others, I find the scourers too rigid for delicate items. There's too much loofah and not enough soft sponge. Following the company’s advice hasn't improved their flexibility.
