Extremely Disappointing Experience

I have ordered various items from the company without issues until this recent order. A day after placing it, I received a notification stating that the product had shipped. Since this was a Christmas gift for my children, I ordered it on December 2, expecting delivery by December 5. However, the tracking only showed that a label was created. After waiting for 10 days with no updates, I contacted the support team. They advised me to wait a few more days, stating that two weeks was reasonable, and to call back if there was still no update. When I followed up, I was informed they were unsure why it was on hold. They promised to inquire and update me on my order status. Two days later, I received a different explanation: FedEx hadn't picked it up from the warehouse, and now it was out of stock with no guarantees provided. The customer representative offered no options, and when I requested a refund, I was told it wasn't possible. I was baffled since I had already paid and they couldn't fulfill my order or cancel it for a refund. This is poor business practice from a large online retailer. The customer representative seemed irritated by my inquiry, whereas I was the one who should have been upset. Eventually, another representative from the resolution team reached out in a professional manner and apologized for the situation, unlike the first one. I was finally offered a refund, which I accepted as I needed to purchase the gift elsewhere just six days before Christmas. I will not be ordering from this company again after this experience. In summary, poor service and a disappointing experience!

First and Last Order Experience

I ordered a luggage tag, but the site never updated the expected shipping date, which remained September 17 for weeks. I used the chat to inquire and was told they would contact the warehouse, but I received no follow-up. I emailed twice regarding the chat response, only to be told again that they would reach out to the warehouse. The website never updated, and my order was never shipped. After nearly a month, I received an email stating that my order was canceled due to their inability to fulfill it. This was my first and last experience with the company.

Unsatisfactory Customer Service

I placed an order in December as a Christmas gift and was not informed that it was from another party in the USA, resulting in duty fees upon delivery. I paid the fees to accept the delivery and contacted the company via email. They advised me not to pay it, claiming the seller was responsible. The seller charged me again for duty instead of refunding me. Now, weeks later, I have still not received my refund. I have requested proof of the refund from the seller, as they claim to have issued it, but nothing has been provided. As a long-time customer, I am deeply disappointed and will not be ordering from the company again. Their customer service leaves much to be desired.

Frustrating Experience with Delivery

My mother ordered a makeup box in late November, and just before Christmas, I emailed the company to inform them that she hadn't received her order. They replied, stating it was delivered on December 7 and suggested checking with friends and neighbors. None of them had it. I requested photographic evidence of the delivery, but they haven't provided any. They insist it was delivered, but it clearly was not. My mother is 74 years old and in sheltered housing; there is no reason for her to lie. She has effectively lost forty dollars.

Decline in Quality Over Time

I have been a shopper at the company for over 20 years, but the last couple of years have seen a decline in quality. This applies to both the items sold and shipping costs. I wish they would stop selling products made in China. Even brands that should be American, like certain jewelry lines, are now sourced from China. It's disheartening to see such a drop in quality.

Service Quality Has Deteriorated

Shipping times from Toronto to Windsor, Ontario, have significantly increased, sometimes taking up to three weeks for orders to cover 240 miles. Getting a refund is a frustrating process, and reaching a live person for assistance can take up to an hour. The live chat feature is often unhelpful, as it is typically a bot that struggles with complex issues. Email inquiries take up to three days for a response. I have been a customer since 2002, and I am very disappointed with how this online shopping experience has declined. I will have to think carefully before ordering again.

Excellent Online Shopping Experience

This is the best online shopping experience in Canada. There are great deals and payment plans available throughout the year. The product selection is good, with new items constantly being added. I have never had to return a product, although they include a return shipping label with every order just in case. The website is easy to navigate.
