I contacted Thompsons through the Fire Brigades Union. They represented me for a claim regarding an injury at work. Rachel Colton was appointed as my solicitor and handled my case bringing it to a successful conclusion. At all times she was highly professional and her persistence and diligence was impressive.
Following a bad fall on public land, I approached Thompsons to enquire as to whether I had a case for this. I've never been in this situation before and I was quite apprehensive. However, I did my research and as Thompsons works with my union, I came to the conclusion that they would ethical and reliable. Setting up the case, the admin team in Sheffield were helpful and informative. Once transferred, the communication from my initial case handler was poor and did not reflect the overall service I received. I would like to say that once my case moved to litigation and was in the hands of Konyinsola Awosika, I was much more assured. I can't praise Konyinsola enough. Having made several previous attempts to contact my initial handler, Konyinsola took the time to call me last thing on a Friday to go through my queries and to reassure me of the process. On all occasions, she was kind, considerate and thorough. She demonstrates an understanding of the needs of her clients. The service I received overall was professional and diligent and this was largely due to Konyinsola and her hard work, knowledge and expertise.For these reasons I would recommend Thompsons Solicitors. They are certainly worth exploring if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of pursuing a claim and have particular benefits if you are part of a union. For my part, I was fortunate enough to have Konyinsola assigned to me, guiding me through an anxious process. Thankyou for the time and care that you gave me, Konyinsola!
Injuet compensation case dated 5th April 2017: It, has been a very long process with my case, with the London branch, as a member of the unison union.My case was transferrd to Tracey Brace, at the Thompson Solicitors branch at Cardiff, 2-3 years ago, where her outstanding professionalism and style of listening to my pain and suffering makes it worth waiting for over 8 years to receive a compensation outcome from the CICA as of the virdick outcome, July the 8th 2017, together with the tribunal as well.Tracey Brace, made me very comfortable, she cared about my case and gave it her all, there is no doubt in my mind that I could not have been successful if it was not for Tracey Brace professionalism and her ability, experience and knowing of how to present my case, as my case had been thrown out of court 3 times until I my case was transfered to her at the Cardiff brance, Tracy Brace encourgaed me to be patient as she felt there was a case to be answered too, and that I must not give up!! Tracey Brace became family to me but in a very professional way, she listened to all my ups and down, my cries with sever pain and trauma attached to it all, she never once stepped out of her profesdional bounties, by rushing me off the phone, she stayed focused and dealt with my case as one would expected her too!! It was always a pleasure talking to her, knowing you would come of the phone feeling like a human being with a place in society, due to her treating me very professional at all time, if Tracey misses your call, she would call me back promptly without delay...in my opinin Tracey Brace is a cut above the rest and can never be compared/replaced, I fine her genuine and very sincere to her client..she is just simply the best I have dealt and known in my years of dealing with other solicitor firm, there is no doubt in my mind she cannot be compared with no other out there!!There is also no doubt in my mind, Tracey Brace professionalism speaks volumes, and that Thompson solicitors need to recognise her level of excellence/outstanding commitment to the company and her clients, she works hard for her client and by her doing so justic has been served for my injury case over 8 years ago..the out come verdict of good new of the case being wan, came the day after my birthday, the 8 of July 2025!!I am still in shock of the good news, as I had lost all hope of being compensation before my case was transferred to Tracey Brace in Cardiff. That through no fault of my own I went to give medication in a private care home, I was left with 5 individual and I was battered by one of patient and the private owner took no responsibility for my injury to this day, as they fail in their duty to show duty of care for me, as well as the clients, but out of all this an excellent law firm as Thompson solicitor, stood up for me and now the victory has been successful...I cannot find the words to express my thanks to Tracey Brace at the Cardiff branch and also Thompson solicitors law firm for their outstanding profomance of the way they strive to get me justice and they did it in style..With the above being said I say a big thank you once again to Tracey Brace at the Cardiff branch for fighting all the way for my case, that took 8 years, 3 months 3 days, for you I say, you are outstanding you care, you are compassionateand stay loyal to your client and to Thompson solicitors, doing your job to the best of your abilities, going above and beyond to see justice is served for your clients, I am happy that it was no other than you...Well done!! After being with this company for seven months I am getting sick of the radio silence. In order to get any form of communication I had to place a poor review on this website. Suddenly had a team manager who promised to look into the case for me and provide information and updates, it's now two months later and back to the same silence. To make matters worse, the emails I send are now being bounced back to me for both individuals. I am still having to work in the same environment and now it seems with no legal support. Worst company I have ever had the experience to deal with and such a disappointment. I am now stuck in this situation but my advice for others who are looking, stay clear. You avoid months of stress, worry, concern, anxiety and needless and relentless chasing. It appears the Liverpool office aren't interested in their clients.
