Vinted's Go shipping boxes are a heresy. The whole point of secondhand shopping is to reduce pollution, and what is Vinted doing? Vinted manufactures connected shipping boxes that pollute from design and manufacturing to installation, maintenance, connectivity, etc. And it's completely useless because shipping works perfectly well without them it's my point of view.
I thought I would buy an inexpensive item as my first purchase. The item arrived after a very long time....and was the wrong size! I provided photos as requested to prove the sandals were the wrong size. The seller said I could return the item at my expense. Vinted gave no help whatsoever. I paid for buyers protection. This is a site that needs to be avoided!!
I've realized I no longer want to spend money on new items. It feels wasteful to have so many unused things lying around when they could bring joy to someone else! This service makes it incredibly easy to share and sell. I truly hope more people discover and use it!
Vinted is fantastic for selling home products that you no longer use. I've been utilizing it for a while, but recently I've encountered issues with delivery and shipping, as some orders haven't arrived at their destinations. This has led to negative reviews from sellers, and shipping times have been lengthy. Overall, Vinted is excellent, but I've faced this particular challenge. Thank you! 😊
I fell victim to a seller who intentionally withheld product information, sending two pairs of shoes in different sizes while obscuring one size in the images. This was clearly a planned act of fraud, and I have photographic evidence to support it.
The response from the platform? They advised me to reach out to the seller myself.
To reiterate: I was instructed to negotiate return costs with the individual who just deceived me.
What transpired: ∙ The seller deliberately hid the size details ∙ I received mismatched items (obvious fraud) ∙ I provided photographic proof of the misleading actions ∙ The platform denied reimbursement for return shipping costs ∙ I was compelled to pay for returning the fraudulent products
The platform’s “solution”: ∙ They referenced terms applicable to voluntary returns, not cases of fraud ∙ I was repeatedly told to resolve the issue with the seller ∙ They refused to escalate the matter to management ∙ The case was closed despite the documented fraud
The message is evident:
The platform will NOT safeguard you from fraud. Scammers thrive because they refuse to enforce their own rules against deceitful sellers.

I am now seeking: ∙ A chargeback through my bank ∙ Filing consumer protection complaints ∙ Legal action
AVOID THIS PLATFORM unless you are ready to lose money with no recourse in the event of fraud.
This platform has become a haven for scammers. Buyers, be cautious.
The platform exhibits bias against racialized individuals. It was fine when I first joined, until I started posting items for sale that I owned. My skin color is Black. Since then, I've faced numerous challenges. Items I purchased for resale are quickly deleted, and my account status is threatened. Even with ample screenshots proving others are selling the same items, they continue to remove mine. This has happened countless times. I only realized it might be race-related after seeing similar experiences shared by others. I investigated by asking a friend who is white to post an item I want to sell.
The marketplace appears to be inundated with counterfeit products, even from high-rated sellers. You might receive a seemingly nice item, confirm its condition on the app, and then realize it’s fake after payment. You’ve already paid for the extra coverage that the platform offers, but it vanishes. The support is always automated, and you can’t reach a real person. The counterfeit seller is just a username from another country without any address. The platform operates largely on automation, with no real communication. What options do you have? None. Don’t waste your time.
