I recently encountered troubling customer service after spending £3029. I initially spoke with a representative who was courteous and offered a flight at a reasonable price. Despite my attempts to communicate my urgency due to my son's upcoming performance, the representative's attitude shifted drastically when I requested a refund. After multiple calls, I was told my deposit wouldn't be returned, which feels unfair. Eventually, I was offered a flight that turned out to be incorrect. The subsequent representatives were dismissive and rude. I am still waiting for resolution and will provide updates on my situation.

Disappointing Flight Booking Experience

I was looking for flights to HK for January next year and was initially offered return flights for £456.12. They took a deposit of £80, which raised a red flag since there was no option to pay in full. After waiting about 20 minutes, I called to finalize everything, but was informed that the representative had left for the day. The next day, I spoke to her, and she assured me she would arrange the tickets. However, 15 minutes later, another person called to inform me that the airline no longer had tickets and the new price was £750 if I could adjust my travel dates. I found this to be dishonest and unacceptable, requesting my deposit back, but they demanded a £50 admin fee, meaning I would only receive £30. I refused to pay more and asked for a cancellation. I then received an email stating they would refund £9 and provide a £71 voucher for future use, which I do not intend to use. I insisted on the £30 refund, which they said would take 7-10 days. Be cautious, as they also operate under another name. This is a service to avoid.

Deposit Taken for Unfulfilled Flight

I advise against using this service. I paid an £80 deposit for a specific flight that was quoted at £408. The deposit was taken under the assumption that the seats were reserved. Later, I was informed that the quoted flight segments were unavailable and that the ticket could not be issued. I was pressured by an agent to accept more expensive alternative flights operated by lesser airlines. I made it clear I would not pay more or downgrade. Despite no ticket being issued and no airline PNR provided, I was told I would not receive a full refund. Instead, I was offered a partial cash refund with the remainder as a travel voucher. After leaving a negative review and threatening to initiate a chargeback, they finally processed my refund. This experience caused unnecessary stress and financial disadvantage, as flight prices increased during this time. I urge anyone considering this service to be extremely cautious with deposit-based bookings.
