On 12 December, I ordered a ham as a Christmas gift, with delivery scheduled for 19 December. On 15 December, I was informed it would be dispatched on 18th. However, on 19th, the company stated it had been sent out. The courier also promised delivery that day, but it never arrived. On 20 December, I was told by the courier it would arrive between 07:00 and 12:00, but it didn’t. After complaining to the company on 21 December, they assured me it would be delivered that day, which it wasn't. On 22 December, the courier indicated it would come on the 23rd. I warned the company about a potential negative review, and they finally agreed to send a new ham via a different service, which arrived as promised. I cannot comment on the quality of the ham since it was a gift. I rated the company two stars because they only took action after being threatened with bad publicity, yet they ultimately attempted to resolve the issue. The courier received one star in a separate review for their failure to deliver.

From this experience, I learned to specify alternative delivery options when ordering and to highlight potential negative reviews in case of incompetence.
I’m quite let down by my initial experience with the seller. I purchased a three-month subscription as a birthday gift, which wasn’t inexpensive, and chose the delivery date they provided. Despite numerous emails from them and the courier, the order faced multiple delays. I even called and was assured that it would be safe to consume upon arrival due to its packaging. However, it arrived three and a half days late, requiring my friend to stay home for several days waiting for it, as each update indicated it would arrive that day. To make matters worse, the pie arrived right on its sell-by date. When I called to explain the situation, the customer service representative informed me that the pies had been in transit too long and should not be consumed. My friend had already eaten one in hopes of enjoying their gift before it spoiled, so I hope they don't end up unwell. Although they have arranged a new delivery, the overall experience has been far from satisfactory, leaving me concerned about future orders. I would recommend caution to others considering a purchase.
Absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly helpful and supportive. The selection of pies and cheeses, along with other products, is fantastic. I’ve switched from another provider to this one, as they are more dependable and reasonably priced.

There was no communication regarding the delay. One item was incorrect upon delivery, and despite sending two emails, I have yet to receive a response. I will not be using this service again.
I ordered some delightful smoked duck breast, which arrived well-packaged and on time. The quality of the duck was excellent, and I will definitely purchase from them again. They also provided great communication when I needed to change the delivery address, handling it very efficiently.
