I was looking forward to the show but on arriving the usher said to us that we were not allowed to sing along during the show and if we did the manager would come down. This was very unsettling, especially since we appear to be the only group who were told this. There were 8 of us and yes we were all brown, so it fell like a racist thing, especially when there were other around us singing along and enjoying them selves. This is the first time I have experience this at a show at the Civic and was disappointing. The show was entertaining and enjoyable.
Far Too Noisy! The Monster Trucks Glow & Fire show itself was good and the noise from the monster trucks to be expected, however once they were all going it was unpleasant. The added loud music was unnecessary, and volume on the cartoons and the hosts microphones was a little excessive. Young children were crying and visibly upset. People started leaving early and I had an awful headache afterward.Thankfully you could purchase earmuffs at the show (which we found out by chance as it wasn´t advertised and at $20 a pop not cheap!)Great show, but a warning about noise levels needed.
Very slow with lots of dead moments during the show…Unfortunately the acoustics wherent the best and it was hard to understand the speakers so I believe that might have played a part into it feeling quite slow with not allot of interaction
Very disapointing, we have been to many shows, but I must say that this show was the most under rated, boring un eventful show I have ever been to, both my twin granad sons asked at many times to go home, we travel from Christchurch and excpeted to see a great after noon, sorry Ticketmaster it was like watching paint dry, I do not even think it was worth $20 per person, people around us were walking out in droves, we held off till just after half time and then walked out.
