Was excellent, and staff were wonderful as I have a walker they were very helpful, only downfall was unfortunately The Civic Carpark was full by 6.45 pm not actual fault of Town Hall but luckily that night I had a able bodied person who was able to drop me off and went and parked car quite a distance away, if I had been driving myself I would have had to forgo the evening.
Bill Bailey is an outstanding and talented entertainer. Unfortunately the choice of the Civic as a venue was a mistake. Notwithstanding the poor acoustics, one of the strengths of Bill's show is seeing his face and unless you were in the stalls of this venue, you would have been seeing the top of his head only. Indeed, for some inexplicable reason, he was only projected onto the big screen when he came out for his encore...
great venue, MFC is my favourite Wellington venue, staff were friendly and helpfulBill was an absolute trooper, obviously some cold or flu was "bugging" him, pun intended but he still delivered a flawless comedy show!! I was gutted I didn't personally get to play with his "ROCK Balls!!"
Venue change and tickets replaced with vastly inferior location. Told they would be changed, but not told when substituted. When I found the new tickets the response to my complaint was slow and ultimately to late to change to any better seating. Absolute disappointment.
