Excellent company and very impresed with the wood. First time using hornbeam and it is a strong hot burn I will definetly be buying again. Company kept me updated which was brilliant 5 stars.
The only downside was the delivery company who failed to deliver on the due date, no phone,nothing and decided to deliver the next day 1 star.
Ordering easy and scheduling delivery is simple too. The quality of the hornbeam logs is very good and they are obviously well seasoned. I've had hornbeam before from here but also beech. Some of the beech logs were very big and hard to split down. This batch of hornbeam is much better and any very large ones split more easily. I ordered this crate as it came with free heat logs which I was curious to try. They do generate heat! I'll probably use those in my outdoor stove in my gazebo. An added benefit is if you can be bothered to break down the crate, it makes a good amount of quality free kindling!
Good, dry logs, very secure on the pallet and easily moved by the delivery chap to the right location for me.
First time I've tried hornbeam - it is very dense, so may not light easily, but promises to urn well.
The delivery driver skillfully maneuvered the pallet of logs down a cobbled path and placed it precisely where I requested, which was a pleasant surprise. The wood quality (hornbeam) is excellent, well-seasoned, and extremely dry, ensuring a long and pleasant burn.
