My battery and inverter was installed by their engineer in November 2025, I was told it is simple to see how all things was working from the app. Well the engineer couldnt get the app to see my plant, so he called the main office who also tried, to no avail. In the begining i told the salesman that i also have an Inverter and solar panels installed, he said no problem they will all be linked into the app. The engineer left saying he had to be somewhere, and the office said that he would call Fox to look into the problem. I waited a week and called them back, and was told i needed a dongle and they would send one. Around a week later one arrived and they asked me to install it into the Inverter so i did, still no joy, they said it was the wrong one, so they sent another one 2 weeks later. I tried that and they said they still could not see it on their system and would call Fox again. Still no call back i rang 2-3 times a week for a month and in the end i gave up around christmas. I rang again and was told that a new dongle was going to be sent as the one sent was wrong too.I got hold of a guy called Ben who said he would come and see what could be the problem. So I called the office to ask when can someone come to help, and was told there would be no point anyone coming, because i need a CT clamp not a dongle, and they would send one to me. But before that Neil rang to say that he had looked at the pictures that his engineer had sent him, and said that by the picture the engineer had put the CT clamp on the wrong cable and asked me to put it on another cable. Well straight away i could see the battery ,inverter and the dongle on the app, but not the solar panels. I waited a couple weeks or so then called about getting the solar panels on the app too, and was told that they would send a CT clamp, 2 weeks went by, so i called on friday to be told they have gone into administration and to find someone else to look after my system, and not to worry as it was still under warranty, we are now called Titan Energy Group, I would not advise anyone to buy anything from them, unless you want blood pressure problems. I cannot see why they couldnt see this job through, if all that was needed was a CT clamp.

Installation was fine. Electrician came and set up system, had to put in a booster for the signal, all ok.This was October. In January we changed Internet provider. Simple you would think.Far from it. Since then the inverter has been offline, and the booster doesn't recognise the new WiFi. Tried phoning UKSE, if answered the relevant person has been on lunch, unavailable or will call back. Never happened. I tried Givenergy. Purely an automated service, impossible to speak to anyone. Emailed Dylan direct, he sent me a You Tube link, still no joy. Spoke to someone today after trying a couple of different phone lines. Told this is outside of their warranty and if they sent an engineer it would incur a £250 call out. We spent £10000 (paid on full before starting) on this system. There wasn't even an offer of good faith. The other option was to have an ethernet cable fitted. My router is at the front of the house. The Inverter is on the back wall of an extension. Really has been a shockingly poor after sales experience. Would not recommend Ian Allden
My solar system has been offline for **more than six weeks** following a simple WiFi speed upgrade. The company's customer service response has been absolutely unacceptable, demonstrating a complete disregard for the customer. **If I could choose a rating below one star, I would.****The system is actually useless, and the amount of money I used to generate from my old Feed-in Tariff (FIT) is higher than what I am getting from this new system after spending over five thousand pounds.** This is deeply frustrating given the substantial investment. Here is a breakdown of my experience and the poor service: *System Failure:** The problem began when the system went offline after a WiFi speed upgrade. Initial troubleshooting steps from the company's rep and a generic YouTube link from did not work. Wasted Effort:** We were forced to buy an Ethernet cable to fix the unstable WiFi connection. The company's provided instructions for this solution failed, and the cable became jammed in the inverter port, * **Complete Lack of Support:** To escalate the issue, I **tried to call GivEnergy directly, but they never answered the phone.** * **Failed Service:** The company itself scheduled an engineer visit **three separate times**, and the engineer was a **no-show every single time.** * **Stalled Resolution:** Despite multiple communications detailing the month-long failure, the cable issue, and the failed appointments, the only advice offered was complicated, multi-step instructions for a manual power-cycle/restart of the inverter, which we requested to do on a guided video call. The issues have been complex, the remote troubleshooting has failed for over six weeks, and the physical service appointments were never honored. The product is failing, the promised financial return is nonexistent, and the customer support is nonexistent. The entire experience is completely unacceptable."
Well from the start I was hugely impressed the sales team were great rather than pushing for big sales just to get money out of me they researched my usage thoroughly and catered to my needs which ended up far less than I had expected,There was an upset mid process that delayed the installation and communication could have been better, but the error was compensated. The installation team were good and despite some unforeseen issues were able to complete the installation to a high standard. Now it’s just a waiting game to see if the savings are as projected 😊😊
Oh dear, where do I begin? 1st week in January I noticed on the app no energy was being generated from the solar panels. Called UKSE no answer left a message no call back left another message same again. What started next is an email chain you wouldn't believe. Apparently they know what the problem is even though no-one to date has even been out to look. It's a cable or lead in the inverter so they say! Let's just say the emails both ways have been long and frequent. Me trying to get answers and the job completed. UKSE basically apologising but not actually doing anything. Not one person has had the decency to pick up the phone, call me and try to explain the situation. Today I was promised the managing director would call me at 3.00pm. Guess what he's been in meetings all day!!If this is not sorted on monday coming you can look forward to seeing all the pathetic emails they've sent me.Do not buy from this company. They promise the world and you can't get them off the phone before the panels are fitted afterwards they treat you like something they've trod it!
The whole process of getting our solar system was really straight forward and easy thanks to everyone at UK Solar Experts. From our initial enquiry through to the installation everything was made easy. The best bit was there were no pushy sales tactics which we were getting from other suppliers that were quoting for us. We have already recommended them to friends.
