I received only a chicken sandwich and a peanut butter and jelly crustable. I asked about the rest which was supposed to add up to $12-$13 value. She had sole discretion. What a crock.
I recently used the Too Good To Go app to rescue a Pret bag, but the experience was incredibly frustrating. Due to heavy traffic, I arrived just 5 minutes after the collection window closed. While the Pret staff were very kind and told me I could simply collect the bag tomorrow, the Too Good To Go support staff strictly refused, stating I cannot use my purchased voucher the next day.
This policy feels completely counterintuitive. The core mission of this app is to reduce food waste, yet because of a tiny delay beyond my control, the food I paid for might now go to waste anyway because the app's 'logic' prevents a simple collection the next morning. I don't understand the business logic of charging a customer but then blocking them from actually saving the food. Very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and support.
I went to pick up my order, but the next morning when I checked my account, I was charged for a second pick up, and hour later at the same location. I emailed TOO GOOD TO GO about this (It was very hard to find contact info), and they never got back to me. I had to go to my bank to get the second charge refunded.
It is easy to use. You just have to stay on top of the deals and reserve it as soon as they become available. Now that I have done my first one, I get the jest of how it works.
The girl at Whole Foods, (she had glasses dark hair and wore a blush pink shirt and she was over at customer service.)who helped us was not very nice. We showed her our phone saying what we were there for and she just walked away didn’t say anything so we followed her as she went and grabbed the bags. But like held them out to us like she was disgusted with this type of gesture. Like held their arm out far and was very rude with her demeanor. No smiling no nothing just like acting as if we were bothered to her.
The photos in the app showed a large, full bag of assorted baked goods. What we received from Panera Bread was only two macaroons, one cookie, a slice of cranberry bread, and a muffin. That is not what was represented. The listing was misleading, and the order was very disappointing.
I have mostly positive experiences with TGTG with the occasionally urg? But they have all been good value for money. I find the best ones to be Greggs and Aldi. If you are prepared to cook and freeze there are some bargains to be had.
I have lived in Wayne for 50 years and I never had a chance to go to Elegance Cafe. What a great experience to walk on and they had my Too Good to Go order ready!
There was so much to this incredible bag, probably the best I have gotten from other restaurants.
I was given an assortment of pastries, a slice of tart, a slice of quiche, 2 containers of soup, some chicken salad and pasta salad.
Beautiful array and wonderful customer service when I walked in! I was greeted in a friendly manner and was invited to come back anytime.

Our mission? To make sure good food gets eaten, not wasted. Every day, delicious, fresh food goes to waste at cafés, restaurants, hotels, shops and manufacturers - just because it hasn’t sold in time. The Too Good To Go app lets customers buy and collect Surprise Bags of food - at a great price - directly from businesses.
