Review Time
Failed to say an item was out of stock, didn't respond to enquiry as to where the item was in a timely fashion -meaning that a Christmas present was not delivered. Refused to refund or even partially refund the shipping, despite the issue being entirely related to their poor communication at point of sale and post-sale enquiry. Had I been informed, I would have switched the item in question to something else which would have been delivered in time for Christmas and been included in the original shipping cost.
Went into the Erina Store for 3 weeks to look at a ride on for my grandson. Long story short went to buy it price scanned wrong, sales assistant Therese was amazing so apologetic and genuinely a lovely person. Called for manager who hid behind an aisle never introduced himself and just said item has been put in the wrong place on the shelf the price what it scans at is the price, no sorry and the way he spoke was very unprofessional, he was very disheveled, contacted head office who promised the complaint had gone to the area manager who then would get the store to call me within 24-48 hours, it's now been 96 business hours with no call, I have resorted to buying online and will never buy from Toymate again, Customer Service from management was non existent and poor from head office as well. No wonder retailers are closing the door and people are preferring to purchase online.
Website really buggy and took me ages to order. 2 days after ordering they emailed saying the item was out of stock and cancelling that item. They continued to send the small ancillary item I ordered at the same time which cost me 8 dollars to have delivered. Tried to use the contact us form on the website and just bug's out.
