I had a terrible experience with Travelodeal. I have used a dozen different travel agents over the years and never had an issue. From the very beginning with Travelodeal, things were not communicated clearly or professionally. I booked a tour voucher that included airfare, hotel and car rental in Italy; however upon receiving any notifications regarding my trip, the messaging was cryptic and did not provide a holistic view of what I paid for. I would receive one email regarding airfare... a second email regarding one of the hotels ... a third email regarding car rental... and so on. Not only were they not professional, but they became non-responsive when I attempted to contact them to change the dates of my trip. More than a month went by with little-to-zero response from multiple people at the company. Eventually, I just cancelled my trip, as my husband and I were not comfortable relying on them to take care of our travel to the other side of the world. I lost over $2,000 in the process and will never use them again. I advise you stay away!
The agent Matt was very helpful and helped me look at up consider all the options, he was very patient with me.
The end result was a fair bit more than the advertised price (as flights on the deal were not great) hence the star rating
I was trying to book a holiday in May 2026 to Kos for 4 people. When enquiring about the flights and other things, the person at the other end was very rude and unhelpful.
This company is a complete scam. Lots of extra charges added on top to original deal. Paid for 3 nights and they offered me flight out to destination in middle of the night which affectively took away one of my nights, as I wouldn't be arriving until next day early morning. When pointed out, they said I would have to pay extra for different flights. I was then quoted £59 extra on my phone call which I agreed too. When my invoice came in, it was £120 extra and I had been downgraded to a 3 star hotel. I was very upset with this and was told I was told this was happening and I agreed and they won't be helping me any further. So my 3 night 4 star holiday has turned into a over charged downgraded piece of crap. Shouldn't of ever bought a holiday of wowcher and I never will again. You're company were not helpful and were sneaky with everything
Absolutely disgusted and destroyed my friends birthday that it was bought for.
We were promised a 4* hotel and an additional night for £80 each, but our actual hotel is only rated 3*. I called to report this issue, but they won't make any changes until they review the call, which they are having technical difficulties with. It would be more professional if they simply stated, 'we will investigate this,' instead of explicitly mentioning they need to listen to the call, as it implies they doubt the customer's honesty.
My experience has been fantastic so far. I spoke with a representative who explored various options for a package I found online and was very informative and transparent about everything. The representative even offered to put things 'on-hold' while I discussed details with my fellow travelers, showing great patience and politeness throughout. I couldn't have asked for better service, and I hope it continues this way for a perfect 5-star holiday experience!
