I recently purchased three dresses from TrueBrowns last week, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

All three dresses arrived in poor condition. They were not properly ironed and appeared as though they had been previously used. The finishing and fabric quality were not up to the standard shown on the website. The products looked significantly different from the display images.

Additionally, although I ordered size Large, two of the dresses received were labelled Large but measured closer to XXL in actual fit. The sizing was clearly inconsistent.

When I contacted customer support for an exchange or return, I was informed that these items were “non-exchangeable and non-returnable.” Despite this, I provided detailed explanations, measurements, and more than 4–5 photographs as requested by their representative. I spent considerable time trying to clarify the issue.

I was told I would receive a response within 24 hours. Instead, I received a reply after three days, stating that the products could not be exchanged or returned and implying that I should have checked before ordering.

As a customer, I expect accountability when the issue involves:
• Incorrect sizing
• Poor finishing
• Products not matching website images

The refusal to take responsibility, even after clear evidence was provided, was deeply disappointing.

Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from TrueBrowns again. I hope the brand improves its quality control and customer service policies so that other customers do not go through the same frustration.

TrueBrowns - CHEAT AND POOR QUALITY

TrueBrowns totally aims to cheat and mislead its customers. I ordered 2 items from them after carefully reading their return terms. It clearly mentioned that SOME items in sales are non-returnable and same would be highlighted for respective item. and it was not mentioned for 2 articles i ordered. Now they are using a blanket statement of Sales item cant be returned. On sharing the screenshot of their items, the support staff mentioned that these are new terms were not valid when i ordered. The quality is so bad and sub-standard that it is not possible to even use them. I wish i had read the reviews. PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM TRUEBROWNS. THEY CHEAT THE CUSTOMERS.

I ordered form them 3 suits and they sent only 2 pieces and have been asking to share video unboxing the package. If you try to reach them they dont take calls and whats support is AI basically no response . I clarified to them that I have received open parcel and 1 pieces is missing in it. I shared the picture of parcel with them. But they have still no processed the refund. Even the 2 suits received the quality is very very cheap n bad. So don't go on ther name it very expensive and bad quality clothes and they scam you.

Defective substandard product

When you purchase from a brand like True Brown, you expect a certain standard — quality control, consistency, and reliability. Unfortunately, I learnt the hard way that a well-known name doesn’t always guarantee quality. I had bought a co-ord set earlier and absolutely loved it, which is why I confidently went ahead and ordered an anarkali.The disappointment came later. I wore it a few weeks after receiving it, and to my shock, the dress tore right at the back. I was disheartened, but since it was new and I loved the silhouette, I went ahead and darned it, hoping it was a one-off issue.Fast forward to a few weeks later — I wore it casually to a friend’s house, and to my utter embarrassment, it tore again. That’s when I realised the issue wasn’t accidental — the fabric itself was defective. It felt like an old batch of material that had been sitting in storage far too long. Even the slightest stretch caused it to tear like paper.So here’s my advice: if you do plan on buying from them, check your product thoroughly and wear it as soon as you can — because if something goes wrong, don’t expect the brand to take accountability. They don’t seem too keen on addressing the real issue: substandard material and lack of quality control.

The service is horrible

The service is horrible. I ordered a blouse for Rs 1749 and I got a ring of same worth. I had saved a screenshot of my cart before paying. I forgot to check my email they said I have ordered a ring , when the product arrived it was a ring costing the same price as the blouse. I told the team it’s technical error with their website and the backend they have taken the order for a wrong product. They disagreed and were not even ready to investigate. If I ordered incorrectly the price of the blouse and ring is the same. This is scam

True browns - please avoid this brand

I recently shopped an item from this brand. I think their quality and after sales service has detoriated massively. I had purchased an earrings and blouse on first try one of the pair hook broke and the earring can no longer be used. When I sent the pic mentioning the product broke when I tried it on first time, they responded saying they will investigate further which they took nearly 1 week. Finally they respond saying we need to see whole packaging. Who is having the time to store every packaging when the item itself is faulty? Are they trying to dodge the customers to avoid refunding or replacing the item? If I have shared a pic of the item being broke isnt that proof enough. I have shopped with them in the past.. recently their products are poor quality and nothing like the insta ads they put up. Please avoid. Do not fall for their ads and posts!

The Trueborwns company is terrible at…

The Trueborwns company is terrible at customer service! I have had an issue with their tailoring for the second time now. It does not matter if you inform them within 7 days after recieving the product. They will ask for pictures as if they care. Then they will reply:"We would like to inform you that the product is not defective. We kindly suggest having it altered by your local tailor to address the fitting issues you are experiencing." So now to fix their mistakes, I will literraly have to pay for it. If you inform them after 7 days, then they will say it is too late. So either way, customer will always be at loss. Be warned, do NOT waste your money as the quality is okay and not the best either.

Great brand - don't understand the bad reviews

I really don't understand the bad reviews for the brand. They have excellent designs in vibrant colors and the fabric quality is great for the price. They run good sales too. If the fabric is cared for as per their instructions, it stays good. I have also never faced an issue with their customer service. Online returns are super easy within the time frame. This is one of my favorite brands.
