The service is outstanding; I was able to easily transfer most of my music. It’s not perfect (e.g., playlist dates and the recency of liked songs won’t transfer), but that seems like a tall order given the complexity of metadata. Their customer service is excellent; I reached out regarding a billing issue and they responded within a day or two! Highly recommend.
It was affordable to transfer over 5,000 songs, and the process was simple and fast. While not flawless, it was very close. A lifesaver when switching from one service to another. Without it, I would have been lost trying to get my music onto a better platform.
I aimed to transfer my playlists from one service to another. After numerous frustrating hours and several interactions with support, I discovered I must transfer each playlist individually, which is quite laborious. I tested other services that seamlessly transferred my playlists, but this service couldn’t manage it, though their support won’t acknowledge this or issue a refund. They attribute the problems to the other service instead.
I used TuneMyMusic briefly while looking at third-party options for YouTube Music. After granting access, the service went far beyond what any reasonable user would expect. It replaced the descriptions on all of my playlists with its own promotional message advertising their website, wiping out my original descriptions without permission. It also changed my playlist visibility from public to private. None of this was requested, needed, or disclosed. It served only their marketing interests and damaged my content.This wasn’t a “transfer.” It was unsolicited modification and self-promotion inside my account. I immediately revoked access. The fact that a service feels entitled to overwrite personal information with advertising raises serious trust and privacy concerns. If this is considered normal practice for them, that’s a major red flag.I will not use TuneMyMusic again, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before granting them access to their music accounts.
I tried it for Amazon music and it doesn't work. it might with a very small playlist but anything bigger it just doesn't. I had to retry about 50 times and each tie it added a few extra tracks. sometimes you just get completely empty playlists. Not sure why there are so many positive reviews i found it not to work and the customer service just says it does and keep trying. It doesn't .....
