Not at all user friendly, poorly designed

Tungsten Network is a system companies use to accept invoices, to prevent them having to key in invoice data.Basically a way of offloading that work onto their suppliers. Though suppliers are charged on a per invoice basis for the privilege of doing their clients' work for them. None of this would be too bad if the system were not so poorly designed, and user unfriendly.For instance, if you are invoicing a US supplier, you cannot set the default currency to US$. So it is easy to accidentally invoice in GBP, if you do so, and spot it immediately - there is no way to cancel or edit the invoice. You have to issue a credit note (for which you are charged) and a new invoice (for which you are charged).Our clients often then PAY the credit notes, which means we then have to spend hours resolving the refunds.If Tungsten Network simply allowed us to edit the invoice in the period before it had been viewed/accepted by the client - this problem would be eliminated.This is not the only problem with Tungsten - it's barely fit for purpose. But this is the one that is most annoying to me right now.

For your suppliers this is a disaster

I have never used the client side of this system but as a supplier it is clunky and an absolute pain when your client uses this system. Whilst it may save a client money having the supplier register onto their system and then have to raise items and the invoice there as well as source the PO, from a supplier point of view this is very time consuming and also goes against your own companies processes and you have duplicate invoices. The system is so clunky and time consuming we have now taken the decision to start charging clients who use the system for processing and set up fees. We work with around 1,400 clients a year and last month alone we spend 38.4 hours working on client systems in order to get paid.
